Now let the fear of the Lord be on you. Judge carefully, for with the Lord our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery.”

Have respect for the Lord. Judge carefully. He is always right. He treats everyone the same. Our God doesn’t want his judges to take money from people who want special favors.”

Now then, let the fear of the Lord be upon you. Be careful what you do, for there is no injustice with the Lord our God, or partiality or taking bribes.”

Fear the Lord and judge with integrity, for the Lord our God does not tolerate perverted justice, partiality, or the taking of bribes.”

And now, may the terror of the LORD be on you. Watch what you do, for there is no injustice or partiality or taking bribes with the LORD our God.”

Now then, let the fear of the Lord be upon you; be careful about what you do, for the Lord our God will have no part in injustice or partiality, or in the taking of a bribe.”

不分善惡俱誅、待善惡相均、此固非主所為、鞫天下者豈不行公義乎、

全能之主全能之主或作天主也其工純全、其一切道大公無私、乃誠實無妄之天主、至義至正、

蓋天主不偏視人、

然則何言也、天主有不義乎、非也、

彼得啟口曰、今我誠知天主不以貌取人、

蓋主爾之天主、在諸神之上、為諸主之主、大威巨能可畏之天主、不偏視人、不受賄賂、為孤寡伸冤、憐愛客旅、賜之衣食、

況天主哉、不偏視王公、不異待貧富、蓋皆其手所造、

毋受賄賂、蓋賄賂盲智者之目、以直者之言為曲、

當於各邑主爾天主所賜爾者、循爾諸支派設立士師有司、使其秉公鞫民、毋偏斷、毋以貌取人、毋受賄賂、因賄賂蒙智者之目、以直者之言為曲、

凡行非義者、必受非義之報、蓋主不偏視人也、

在以色列人中、選有才德者、立為民之首、為千夫長、百夫長、五十夫長、十夫長、彼即隨時鞫民、凡事之艱鉅者、陳於摩西前、事之小者、則自鞫之、

行公義、言正直、厭棄訛詐之財、搖手不受賄賂、塞耳不欲聞害人之謀、閉目不忍見兇暴之事、

爾於眾民中選才德兼備、敬畏天主、真實無妄、不貪財利者、立之為千夫長、百夫長、五十夫長、十夫長、以治理斯民、又隨時審鞫民、凡有大事則陳於爾前、小事則彼自鞫之、如是、彼等與爾分任、則爾事簡易矣、

長者或作牧伯伸手索賄、以非為是、或作手皆行惡且盡力行之長者索賄士師審判求利、大夫所言惟私慾、彼此聯絡為非、若編繩索、

我今且按人言言之曰、若我儕之不義、顯彰天主之義、則何言哉、天主施刑、可謂其不義乎、非也、若然、則天主焉能審判世界乎、

至於有名者、不論何人、皆與我無與、天主不以貌取人、彼有名者、於我無所增益、

遂遣其徒、同希律黨、就之曰、師、我儕知爾乃真者、以真傳天主道、爾不顧人議、蓋爾不以貌取人、

爾之侯伯悖逆、與盜為侶、俱好賄賂、求贓私、不為孤子辨屈、嫠婦不敢至前訴冤、緣此以色列全能之天主、萬有之主耶和華曰、噫、必罰我仇、以雪我忿、必報復我敵、我必加手於爾、消融爾渣滓、盡除爾鉛錫、必使爾士師仍似曩時、使爾謀臣猶如昔日、厥後爾必得稱為善義之城、忠信之邑、

爾為主人者待奴、亦同此一理、勿恐喝之、因知爾亦有主在天、爾亦有主在天或作爾與彼同有一主在天彼不以貌取人、○

在我以前之舊方伯、向民索供給、日索糧與酒、並銀四十舍客勒、日索糧與酒並銀四十舍客勒或作為糧為酒日索銀四十舍客勒僕從亦勒詐於民、亦勒詐於民或作亦挾制民我敬畏天主、不敢如是以行、

至三日、約瑟謂之曰、我畏天主、有一事爾行之、
