然爾尚有善事在焉、即除境內之木偶、致志尋求上帝也、○

然爾於斯土毀偶像、誠心崇上帝、猶可為善。○

然王自國中除諸亞舍拉、盡心尋求天主、王此事猶可謂善、

There is, however, some good in you, for you have rid the land of the Asherah poles and have set your heart on seeking God.”

But there’s some good in you. You have removed all the poles in the land used to worship the female god named Asherah. And you have worshiped God with all your heart.”

Nevertheless, some good is found in you, for you destroyed the Asheroth out of the land, and have set your heart to seek God.”

Even so, there is some good in you, for you have removed the Asherah poles throughout the land, and you have committed yourself to seeking God.”

However, some good is found in you, for you have eradicated the Asherah poles from the land and have determined in your heart to seek God.”

But there is some good in you, for you have removed the Asheroth from the land and you have set your heart to seek God.”

Nevertheless good things are found in you, in that you have removed the wooden images from the land, and have prepared your heart to seek God.”

Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast put away the Asheroth out of the land, and hast set thy heart to seek God.

王既然谦卑下来，耶和华的烈怒就止息，没有把他完全消灭。何况在犹大中还有善事。

因为以斯拉专心寻求研究耶和华的律法，并且遵行，在以色列中教导律例和典章。

以色列众人要为他举哀，把他埋葬；属耶罗波安的人中，只有他可以入葬坟墓；因为在耶罗波安的家中，只有他向耶和华以色列的神显出善行。

罗波安行恶，因为他没有定意寻求耶和华。

神啊！我的心坚定，我的心坚定；我要歌唱，我要颂赞。

我知道在我里面，就是在我肉体之中，没有良善，因为立志行善由得我，行出来却由不得我。

耶和华和约沙法同在，因为他遵行了他祖先大卫最初所行的道路，没有寻求巴力。只寻求他父亲的神，遵行神的诫命，没有随从以色列人的行为。因此，耶和华使他统治的国稳固；犹大各地都给他进贡，所以约沙法的财富很多，极有尊荣。他勇敢地遵行耶和华的道路，并且从犹大地中除掉邱坛和亚舍拉。
