你們的族弟兄住在各城，凡有爭訟的事來到你們面前，或是為了兩方面的流血、或是在律法與誡命、律例、典章之間有爭執，你們總要開導他們，免得他們得罪永恆主，以致他的震怒臨到了你們和你們的族弟兄；你們這樣行、就不至於有罪責了。

In every case that comes before you from your people who live in the cities— whether bloodshed or other concerns of the law, commands, decrees or regulations— you are to warn them not to sin against the Lord; otherwise his wrath will come on you and your people. Do this, and you will not sin.

Cases will come to you from your people who live in the other cities. The cases might be about murder or other matters dealt with by the law, commands, directions and rules. Warn the people not to sin against the Lord. If you don’t warn them, he will be angry with you and your people. Do what I say. Then you won’t sin.

whenever a case comes to you from your brothers who live in their cities, concerning bloodshed, law or commandment, statutes or rules, then you shall warn them, that they may not incur guilt before the Lord and wrath may not come upon you and your brothers. Thus you shall do, and you will not incur guilt.

Whenever a case comes to you from fellow citizens in an outlying town, whether a murder case or some other violation of God’s laws, commands, decrees, or regulations, you must warn them not to sin against the Lord, so that he will not be angry with you and them. Do this and you will not be guilty.

For every dispute that comes to you from your brothers who dwell in their cities— whether it regards differences of bloodguilt, law, commandment, statutes, or judgments— you are to warn them, so they will not incur guilt before the LORD and wrath will not come on you and your brothers. Whenever any dispute comes to you from your countrymen who live in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and ordinances, you shall warn them so that they will not be guilty before the Lord, and wrath will not come on you and your countrymen. Whenever your countrymen who live in the cities bring a case before you( whether it involves a violent crime or other matters related to the law, commandments, rules, and regulations), warn them that they must not sin against the LORD. If you fail to do so, God will be angry with you and your colleagues; but if you obey, you will be free of guilt.

Whenever any controversy comes to you from your brothers who dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and ordinances, you must warn them, that they not be guilty toward Yahweh, and so wrath come on you and on your brothers. Do this, and you will not be guilty.

『在你城內若有案件在流血與流血之間、辯訴與辯訴之間、毆打與毆打之間、爭訟的點太離奇、不是你所能判斷的，那麼你就要起來，上永恆主你的上帝所要選擇的地方，去見祭司利未人和當日做審判官的、去查問，他們便會將判斷的話向你宣告。你要按照他們從永恆主所要選擇的那地方向你宣告的話去行；照他們所指教你的一切事謹慎遵行；按照他們所指教你的律法、所對你說的判斷去行；你對他們所要向你宣告的話可不要偏於右或偏於左。若有人擅自行事，不聽從祭司、那站在那裏事奉永恆主你的上帝的、或是不聽從審判官，那人就必須死；你要把那壞事從以色列中肅清。這樣、眾民聽見，就會懼怕，再也不敢擅自行事了。

我若指着惡人說：「你必定死」，你若不警告他，不告訴惡人而警告他離開他惡的行徑，好救活他自己，那這惡人就必死在他的罪孽中，流他血的罪呢、我卻要從你手裏追討。倘若你警告了惡人，他仍不回轉離開他的惡，不離開他惡的行徑，那麼這人就必死在他的罪孽中，而你呢、卻可以救你自己的性命。義人呢，義人若轉離他的義而行不公道的事，當我將絆腳物放在他面前時，他就必死；因你沒有警告他，他就死在他的罪中，他素來所行的義遂不被記念，但流他血的罪、我卻要從你手裏追討。然而你若警告義人，使義人不犯罪；他不犯罪，就必存活，因為他接受了警告；你呢、也可以救你自己的性命。』

摩西對亞倫說：『拿那香爐，把祭壇上取的火盛在那裏頭，又放上香，趕快走到會眾那裏，為他們行除罪禮，因為有神的震怒從永恆主面前發出，疫病已經發作了。』

見異象者哈拿尼的兒子耶戶出來和約沙法王見面，對他說：『你哪可幫助惡人、愛那恨惡永恆主的人呢？因此那出於永恆主的震怒就要臨到你了。

所以你們要儆醒，記得我三年之久、晝夜不停地流淚勸戒你們每一個人。

弟兄們，我們勸你們、對游手好閒的人要勸戒，對灰心的人要撫慰，對軟弱的人要扶持，對眾人要恆忍。

今日你們竟轉離了永恆主呀？今日你們既背叛了永恆主，明日他就必震怒以色列全會眾了。不過你們所擁為產業之地如果不潔淨，你們儘可以過來永恆主所擁為產業之地、他帳幕所居的地方，在我們中間來擁得產業啊；卻不可背叛永恆主，也不可背棄我們，而在永恆主我們的上帝的祭壇以外、為自己築了祭壇啊。從前謝拉的曾孫亞干豈不是在該被毁滅歸神之物上不忠實，以致有上帝的震怒臨到以色列全會眾麼？那人在他的罪愆中死亡，還不只是他一人而已呢。」』

但那守望者若見刀劍臨到，而不吹號角，以致人民沒有受警告，而刀劍遂來除滅他們中間任何人的性命，那麼這人雖因他自己的罪孽而被除滅，然而流他血的罪我卻要從守望者手裏追討。
