只要剛強，大大壯膽，謹守遵行我僕人摩西所吩咐你的一切律法，不可偏離左右，使你無論往哪裏去，都可以順利。這律法書不可離開你的口，總要晝夜思想，好使你謹守遵行這書上所寫的一切話。如此，你的道路就可以亨通，凡事順利。

「你的門徒為甚麼違反古人的傳統？因為他們吃飯的時候不洗手。」耶穌回答他們：「你們為甚麼因你們的傳統而違反上帝的誡命呢？上帝說：『當孝敬父母』；又說：『咒罵父母的，必須處死。』你們倒說：『無論誰對父母說：我所當供奉你的已經作了奉獻，就可以不孝敬他的父親。』這就是你們藉着傳統，廢了上帝的話。假冒為善的人哪！以賽亞指着你們所預言的說得好：『這百姓用嘴唇尊敬我，他們的心卻遠離我。他們把人的規條當作教義教導人；他們拜我也是枉然。』」

他對那歸耶和華為聖、教導以色列眾人的利未人說：「你們將聖約櫃安放在以色列王大衛兒子所羅門建造的殿裏，不必再用肩扛抬。現在你們要服事耶和華－你們的上帝和他的百姓以色列。

耶書亞、巴尼、示利比、雅憫、亞谷、沙比太、荷第雅、瑪西雅、基利他、亞撒利雅、約撒拔、哈難、毗萊雅和利未人使百姓明白律法；百姓都站在自己的地方。

因為歷代以來，摩西的書在各城都有人宣講，每逢安息日，也在會堂裏誦讀。」

很多，各方面都有。首先，上帝的聖言交託他們。

「以色列啊，你要聽！耶和華－我們的上帝是獨一的主。你要盡心、盡性、盡力愛耶和華－你的上帝。我今日吩咐你的這些話都要記在心上，也要殷勤教導你的兒女。無論你坐在家裏，走在路上，躺下，起來，都要吟誦。要繫在手上作記號，戴在額上作經匣；又要寫在你房屋的門框上和你的城門上。

如果你們信摩西，也會信我，因為他寫過關於我的事。

他們和保羅約定了日子，就有許多人到他的住處來。保羅從早到晚向他們講解這事，為上帝的國作證，並引摩西的律法和先知的書勸導他們信從耶穌。

你們查考聖經，因你們以為其中有永生；而這經正是為我作見證的。

當以色列眾人來到耶和華－你上帝所選擇的地方朝見他的時候，你要在以色列眾人面前念這律法給他們聽。要召集百姓，男人、女人、孩子，和在你城裏寄居的，叫他們都得以聽見，好學習敬畏耶和華－你們的上帝，謹守遵行這律法的一切話。他們的兒女，就是那未曾認識的，也可以聽，學習敬畏耶和華－你們的上帝；你們一生的日子，在你們過約旦河得為業的地上，都要這樣做。」

所以，你們要去，使萬民作我的門徒，奉父、子、聖靈的名給他們施洗，凡我所吩咐你們的，都教導他們遵守。看哪，我天天與你們同在，直到世代的終結。」

當以教誨和律法書為準；人所說的若不與此相符，必沒有黎明。

有人在這城迫害你們，就逃到另一城去。我實在告訴你們，以色列的城鎮，你們還沒有走遍，人子就要來臨。

在讀完了律法和先知的書，會堂主管們叫人過去，對他們說：「二位弟兄，你們若有甚麼勸勉眾人的話，請說。」

若有人講道，他要按着上帝的聖言講；若有人服事，他要按着上帝所賜的力量服事，好讓上帝在凡事上因耶穌基督得榮耀。願榮耀和權能都歸給他，直到永永遠遠。阿們！

後來有人在亞鎖都遇見腓利；他走遍那地方，在各城宣揚福音，一直到凱撒利亞。

耶穌吩咐完了十二個門徒，就離開那裏，往各城去傳道，教導人。
