他又對那些教導以色列眾人，分別為聖歸耶和華的利未人說：“你們要把聖約櫃安放在以色列王大衛的兒子所羅門建造的殿裡；不必再用肩膀扛抬。現在你們要服事耶和華你們的神，服事他的子民以色列。

以色列人沒有真神，沒有教導他們的祭司，沒有律法，已經很久了。

那天四分之一的時間，他們站在自己的地方，宣讀耶和華他們的神的律法書；另外四分之一的時間，他們認罪和敬拜耶和華他們的神。

孩子們！你們要來聽我；我要教導你們敬畏耶和華。

他們要把你的典章教訓雅各，把你的律法教訓以色列；他們要把香焚在你面前，把全牲的燔祭獻在你的祭壇上。

傳道者不但有智慧，還將知識教訓眾人；他既揣摩，又查考，也編撰了許多箴言。傳道者搜尋可喜悅的話，正確地寫下真理。

提阿非羅先生：我已經寫了前書，敘述耶穌開始所行所教的一切，

耶穌走遍加利利，在各會堂裡教導人，宣揚天國的福音，醫治民間各種疾病、各種病症。

他用比喻教訓他們許多事，在教訓中他說：

那時，我傳道者在耶路撒冷作以色列的王。

希西家慰勉所有善於事奉耶和華的利未人；眾人吃節筵七日，又獻上平安祭，稱頌耶和華他們列祖的神。

列國的君王要作你的養父，他們的王后必作你的保姆；他們必臉伏於地向你下拜，舐你腳上的塵土。那麼，你就知道我是耶和華，那些仰望我的決不會羞愧。”

我就必把你的道指教有過犯的人，罪人必回轉歸向你。

然後利未人耶書亞、巴尼、示利比、雅憫、亞谷、沙比太、荷第雅、瑪西雅、基利他、亞撒利雅、約撒拔、哈難和毘萊雅就教導他們明白律法。眾人一直站在原處聆聽。他們宣讀神的律法，把意義清楚翻譯出來，使眾民明白所宣讀的。

看哪，我照著耶和華我的神吩咐我的，把律例和典章教訓你們，好讓你們在將要進去得為業的地上遵行。

他卻說：“我也必須到別的城去傳神國的福音，因為我是為了這緣故奉差遣的。”於是他往猶太的各會堂去傳道。

第二天，眾民的族長、祭司和利未人都聚集到經學家以斯拉那裡，研究律法的話。他們發現律法上記載，耶和華曾藉著摩西吩咐以色列人，要在七月的節期中，住在棚裡，
