At that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah, and said to him,“ Because you have relied on the king of Syria, and have not relied on Yahweh your God, therefore the army of the king of Syria has escaped out of your hand.

那时，先见哈拿尼来见犹大王亚撒，对他说：“因你仰赖亚兰王，没有仰赖耶和华你的神，所以亚兰王的军兵脱离了你的手。

那时，哈拿尼先见来见犹大王亚撒，对他说：“因你仰赖亚兰王，没有仰赖耶和华—你的上帝，所以亚兰王的军兵逃脱了你的手。

那时，哈拿尼先见来见犹大王亚撒，对他说：“因你仰赖亚兰王，没有仰赖耶和华—你的神，所以亚兰王的军兵逃脱了你的手。

那时，哈拿尼先见晋见犹大王亚撒说：“因为你不倚靠你的上帝耶和华，反而倚靠亚兰王，所以亚兰王的军队已经从你手中逃脱。

那时，先见哈拿尼来见犹大王亚撒，对他说：“因你倚靠亚兰王，没有倚靠耶和华你的神，所以亚兰王的军队才可以脱离你的手。

那時，先見哈拿尼來見猶大王亞撒，對他說：「因你仰賴亞蘭王，沒有仰賴耶和華－你的神，所以亞蘭王的軍兵脫離了你的手。

那時，哈拿尼先見來見猶大王亞撒，對他說：「因你仰賴亞蘭王，沒有仰賴耶和華－你的上帝，所以亞蘭王的軍兵逃脫了你的手。

那時，先見哈拿尼來見猶大王亞撒，對他說：“因你倚靠亞蘭王，沒有倚靠耶和華你的神，所以亞蘭王的軍隊才可以脫離你的手。

就在那時先見哈拿尼就來見猶大王亞撒，對他說：『因你依靠着亞蘭王，沒有依靠永恆主你的上帝、故此亞蘭王的軍隊才逃脫了你的手。

是時先見哈拿尼詣猶大王亞撒、謂之曰、因爾恃亞蘭王、不恃爾之上帝耶和華、故亞蘭王之軍脫於爾手、

是時先見者哈拿尼、覲猶大王亞撒、告之曰、因爾恃亞蘭王、不爾上帝耶和華是賴、故不克亞蘭軍。

是時先見哈拿尼來見猶大王亞撒、謂之曰、爾恃亞蘭王、不恃主爾之天主、故亞蘭軍脫於爾手、

At that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah and said to him:“ Because you relied on the king of Aram and not on the Lord your God, the army of the king of Aram has escaped from your hand.

At that time Hanani the seer came to King Asa and told him,“ Because you have put your trust in the king of Aram instead of in the Lord your God, you missed your chance to destroy the army of the king of Aram.

At that time, the seer Hanani came to King Asa of Judah and said to him,“ Because you depended on the king of Aram and have not depended on the LORD your God, the army of the king of Aram has escaped from you.

At that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah and said to him,“ Because you have relied on the king of Aram and have not relied on the Lord your God, for that reason the army of the king of Aram has escaped from your hand.

And at that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah, and said to him:“ Because you have relied on the king of Syria, and have not relied on the Lord your God, therefore the army of the king of Syria has escaped from your hand.

And at that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah, and said unto him, Because thou hast relied on the king of Syria, and hast not relied on Jehovah thy God, therefore is the host of the king of Syria escaped out of thy hand.

At that time, Hanani the seer came to King Asa of Judah and said to him,“ Because you depended on the king of Aram and have not depended on the Lord your God, the army of the king of Aram has escaped from your hand.

And at that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah, and said unto him, Because thou hast relied on the king of Syria, and not relied on the LORD thy God, therefore is the host of the king of Syria escaped out of thine hand.

At that time Hanani the prophet visited King Asa of Judah and said to him:“ Because you relied on the king of Syria and did not rely on the LORD your God, the army of the king of Syria has escaped from your hand.

Yahweh’s word came to Jehu the son of Hanani against Baasha, saying,

Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat,“ Should you help the wicked, and love those who hate Yahweh? Because of this, wrath is on you from before Yahweh.

“ Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or dismayed because of the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude who is with him; for there is a greater one with us than with him.An arm of flesh is with him, but Yahweh our God is with us to help us and to fight our battles.” The people rested themselves on the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, and rely on horses, and trust in chariots because they are many, and in horsemen because they are very strong, but they don’t look to the Holy One of Israel, and they don’t seek Yahweh!

Don’t put your trust in princes, each a son of man in whom there is no help.His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his thoughts perish.Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yahweh, his God:who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps truth forever;

Thus the children of Israel were brought under at that time, and the children of Judah prevailed, because they relied on Yahweh, the God of their fathers.

A man shall be as a hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the storm, as streams of water in a dry place, as the shade of a large rock in a weary land.

Yahweh says:“ Cursed is the man who trusts in man, relies on strength of flesh, and whose heart departs from Yahweh.For he will be like a bush in the desert, and will not see when good comes, but will inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, an uninhabited salt land.
