他們起兵攻打猶大，侵入境內，擄走了王宮裡的所有財物以及約蘭的兒子和妻妾，只留下他最小的兒子約哈斯。

基法·阿摩尼、俄弗尼、迦巴，共十二座城及其附近的鄉村。還有基遍、拉瑪、比錄、米斯巴、基非拉、摩撒、

他每年都到伯利恆、吉甲、米斯巴各地巡迴，審理以色列人的案件。

他們還得到了便雅憫支派的迦巴、阿勒篾、亞拿突及這些城邑周圍的草場。他們各宗族所得的城邑共十三座。
