All those who wouldn’t obey the Lord, the God of Israel, would be killed. It wouldn’t matter how important they were. It wouldn’t matter whether they were men or women.

but that whoever would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, should be put to death, whether young or old, man or woman.

They agreed that anyone who refused to seek the Lord, the God of Israel, would be put to death— whether young or old, man or woman.

於耶和華外、祭他神者、必翦滅之、

以利亞謂眾曰、執巴力之先知、毋使一人逸、遂執之、以利亞曳至基順溪、殺之於彼、○

爾上帝耶和華導爾出埃及、脫於奴隸之室、惟彼先知、與作夢者、以言逆之、誘爾違爾上帝耶和華所命行之道、則必殺之、以除爾中之惡、○如爾同母兄弟、或爾子女、或懷中之妻、或如命之友、私誘爾曰、我其往事他神、爾與爾祖所未識者、即爾四周諸族之神、或近或遠、自地極至天涯、爾毋從之、毋聽之、毋惜之、毋恤之、毋匿之、必殺勿赦、爾先加手擊之、眾後擊之、爾上帝耶和華導爾出埃及、脫於奴隸之室、彼欲誘爾離之、故當以石擊之致死、以色列眾聞之必懼、不復行此惡於爾中、○爾上帝耶和華賜爾諸邑、俾爾居之、若聞一邑之中、有匪類出、誘居民曰、我其往事他神、乃爾所未識者、則當究問詳察、如得其情、果於爾中有此可惡之事、必以刃擊其邑民、與其牲畜、及凡所有、而殄滅之、

此約之立、以免爾中男女、宗族支派、今日中心違棄我上帝耶和華、往事斯族之神、致有荼毒之根、生於爾中、

在爾上帝耶和華所賜之邑、爾中如有男女、作惡於爾上帝耶和華前、違背其約、往事他神、而崇拜之、或日月、或天象、非我所命者、或以告爾、爾既聞之、則必詳察、如得其情、果於以色列中、有此可惡之事、必攜行惡之男女、至於邑門、以石擊之致死、

然我蒙上帝之佑、今日猶存、並證於尊者卑者之前、所言無非先知及摩西預言之事、

我見死者尊與卑均立座前、諸書遂展、又有他書展焉、即維生之書也、死者依其行、如書所載而被鞫、

況不偏視王公、不歧視貧富者乎、蓋皆其所造也、

中夜、耶和華擊埃及地諸長子、自居位之法老、至獄中之俘囚、凡其長子、及羣畜首生者、無不隕沒、

尊卑同居、奴脫於主、○

使眾於門外、少長目眯、索門致倦、○

世之諸王、大夫、將帥、富人、力士、為奴者、自由者、皆自匿於山洞山巖、
