All who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, were to be put to death, whether small or great, man or woman.

All those who wouldn’t obey the Lord, the God of Israel, would be killed. It wouldn’t matter how important they were. It wouldn’t matter whether they were men or women.

but that whoever would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, should be put to death, whether young or old, man or woman.

They agreed that anyone who refused to seek the Lord, the God of Israel, would be put to death— whether young or old, man or woman.

Whoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel would be put to death, young or old, man or woman.

and whoever would not seek the Lord God of Israel was to be put to death, whether small or great, man or woman.

“祭祀别神，不单单祭祀耶和华的，那人必要灭绝。

凡敬畏耶和华的，无论大小，主必赐福给他。

以利亚对他们说：“拿住巴力的先知，不容一人逃脱！”众人就拿住他们。以利亚带他们到基顺河边，在那里杀了他们。

那先知或是那做梦的既用言语叛逆那领你们出埃及地、救赎你脱离为奴之家的耶和华你们的神，要勾引你离开耶和华你神所吩咐你行的道，你便要将他治死。这样，就把那恶从你们中间除掉。“你的同胞弟兄，或是你的儿女，或是你怀中的妻，或是如同你性命的朋友，若暗中引诱你，说：‘我们不如去侍奉你和你列祖素来所不认识的别神，是你四围列国的神。’无论是离你近，离你远，从地这边到地那边的神，你不可依从他，也不可听从他，眼不可顾惜他。你不可怜恤他，也不可遮庇他，总要杀他；你先下手，然后众民也下手，将他治死。要用石头打死他，因为他想要勾引你离开那领你出埃及地为奴之家的耶和华你的神。以色列众人都要听见害怕，就不敢在你们中间再行这样的恶了。“在耶和华你神所赐你居住的各城中，你若听人说，有些匪类从你们中间的一座城出来勾引本城的居民，说：‘我们不如去侍奉你们素来所不认识的别神’；

惟恐你们中间，或男或女，或族长或支派长，今日心里偏离耶和华我们的神，去侍奉那些国的神；又怕你们中间有恶根生出苦菜和茵陈来，

“在你们中间，在耶和华你神所赐你的诸城中，无论哪座城里，若有人，或男或女，行耶和华你神眼中看为恶的事，违背了他的约，去侍奉敬拜别神，或拜日头，或拜月亮，或拜天象，是主不曾吩咐的；有人告诉你，你也听见了，就要细细地探听，果然是真，准有这可憎恶的事行在以色列中，你就要将行这恶事的男人或女人拉到城门外，用石头将他打死。

然而我蒙神的帮助，直到今日还站得住，对着尊贵、卑贱、老幼作见证；所讲的并不外乎众先知和摩西所说将来必成的事，

我又看见死了的人，无论大小，都站在宝座前。案卷展开了，并且另有一卷展开，就是生命册。死了的人都凭着这些案卷所记载的，照他们所行的受审判。

他待王子不徇情面，也不看重富足的过于贫穷的，因为都是他手所造。

到了半夜，耶和华把埃及地所有的长子，就是从坐宝座的法老，直到被掳囚在监里之人的长子，以及一切头生的牲畜，尽都杀了。

大小都在那里；奴仆脱离主人的辖制。

并且使门外的人，无论老少，眼都昏迷；他们摸来摸去，总寻不着房门。

地上的君王、臣宰、将军、富户、壮士，和一切为奴的、自主的，都藏在山洞和岩石穴里，
