王使人毀巴力祭臺、斫高設其上之日像、斫諸亞舍拉、碎諸偶像、及鎔鑄之形像、搗之成粉、撒於祭偶像者之塚、

當時所羅門在耶路撒冷相對之山、為摩押可憎之物基抹、又為亞捫人可憎之物摩洛即米勒公築邱壇、所娶異族之妃嬪、皆焚香獻祭於其神、所羅門亦為其神築邱壇、

猶大人行惡於主前、所犯罪愆、干主震怒、較其先人更甚、猶大人亦在各高岡上、各茂樹下、築壇、立柱像與亞舍拉、亞舍拉或作木偶其地亦有頑童、猶大人效主在以色列人前所逐之列族、行可憎之事、
