至於你呢、你如果行於我面前，像你父親大衛那樣行：照我一切所吩咐你的去作，謹守我的律例典章，那麼我就立定你的國位，正如我和你父親大衛立了約說：「你子孫總必不斷有人來統治以色列的」。『但是你們、你們若轉離而撇棄我的律例誡命、就是我所擺在你們面前的，反而去服事敬拜別的神，

那撒在石頭地上的，是人聽了道，立刻歡歡喜喜地領受，自己裏面卻沒有根，只是暫時的；及至因道而遭苦難或逼迫，立刻就絆跌了。

他又照摩西所吩咐的在安息日、初一日、和制定節期上、一年三次、即除酵節、七七節、住棚節、按日日所該獻上的來獻。所羅門照他父親大衛所定的規矩派立了祭司的班次、使他們辦理事務，又使利未人各盡職守、來讚美永恆主，在祭司面前按日日的本分供職，又派守門的按着班次看守各門：因為神人大衛是這樣吩咐的。王所吩咐關於祭司們和利未人的事，無論是辦任何事務，或是掌管府庫，他們都沒有偏離。從永恆主的殿立根基的日子直到作成、所羅門的工都計畫得很周到：這樣、永恆主的殿就做完了。

以法蓮哪，我可怎樣評斷你呢？猶大啊，我可怎樣評定你呢？你們的堅貞就如早晨的雲霧，又如早散的朝露。
