当诸王在位的时候，天上的上帝必另立一个永不败坏的国度，这国度必不归给其他百姓，却要打碎灭绝所有的国度，存立到永远。你既看见非人手凿出来的一块石头从山而出，打碎铁、铜、泥、银、金，那就是至大的上帝把将来要发生的事给王指明。这梦是确实的，这解释也是准确的。”当时，尼布甲尼撒王脸伏于地，向但以理下拜，并且吩咐人给他奉上供物和香。王对但以理说：“你既能讲明这奥秘，你们的上帝诚然是万神之神、万王之主，是奥秘的启示者。”

“时候到了，我—尼布甲尼撒举目望天，我的知识复归于我，我就称颂至高者，赞美尊敬活到永远的上帝。他的权柄存到永远，他的国度存到万代。

“诸王之王亚达薛西，达于精通天上之上帝律法的以斯拉祭司文士等等：现在

他献上自己作人人的赎价；在适当的时候这事已经证实了。

不叫我们陷入试探；救我们脱离那恶者。因为国度、权柄、荣耀，全是你的，直到永远。阿们！’
