在以上列王統治的時候，天上的上帝必設立一國——永不滅亡、外族無法奪其政權。這國將擊垮、消滅列國，並且永遠長存。你看見那塊非人手從山中鑿出的石頭打碎鐵、銅、泥、銀和金。偉大的上帝已把將來的事告訴了王。這夢是真實的，解釋是可靠的。」尼布甲尼撒王俯伏在地，向但以理下拜，並下令給他獻供物和香。王對但以理說：「你們的上帝真是萬神之神、萬王之主、奧秘的啟示者，因為你能揭開這個奧秘。」

「七年後，我尼布甲尼撒舉目望天，恢復了神智，便稱頌至高者，讚美、尊崇永活者。祂的統治永無窮盡，祂的國度直到萬代。

「王中之王亞達薛西降旨給精通天上上帝律法的教師以斯拉祭司，願你平安！

祂捨命作全人類的贖價，這在所定的時候已顯明出來。

不要讓我們遇見誘惑，救我們脫離那惡者。因為國度、權柄、榮耀都是你的，直到永遠。阿們！』
