若有人不照顧親屬，尤其是自己家裏的人，就是背棄信仰，還不如不信的人。

Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

Everyone should provide for their own relatives. Most of all, everyone should take care of their own family. If they don’t, they have left the faith. They are worse than someone who doesn’t believe.

But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

如今，我準備第三次到你們那裏去。我仍不會連累你們，因為我所求的是你們，不是你們的財物。兒女不該為父母積財，父母該為兒女積財。

所以，一有機會就要向眾人行善，向信徒一家的人更要這樣。

你們中間作父親的，誰有兒子求魚，反拿蛇當魚給他呢？求雞蛋，反給他蠍子呢？你們雖然不好，尚且知道拿好東西給兒女，何況天父，他豈不更要把聖靈賜給求他的人嗎？」

豈不是要你把食物分給飢餓的人，將流浪的窮人接到家中，見赤身的給他衣服遮體，而不隱藏自己避開你的骨肉嗎？

他們宣稱認識神，卻在行為上否認他；他們是可憎惡的，是悖逆的，不配做任何好事。

你們雖然不好，尚且知道拿好東西給兒女，何況你們在天上的父，他豈不更要把好東西賜給求他的人嗎？

有敬虔的外貌，卻背棄了敬虔的實質，這等人你要避開。

基督和彼列有甚麼相和？信主的和不信主的有甚麼相干？

他若是不聽他們，就去告訴教會；若是不聽教會，就把他看作外邦人和稅吏。

我未來以前，你擁有的很少，現在卻已大量增加，因為耶和華隨着我的腳步賜福給你。現在，我到甚麼時候才可以成家立業呢？」

因為無論在得救的人或在滅亡的人當中，我們都是基督馨香之氣，是獻給神的。對滅亡的人，這是死而又死的氣味；對得救的人，這是生而又生的氣味。這些事誰能當得起呢？

我知道你的居所，就是有撒但座位之處；當我忠心的見證人安提帕在你們中間，在撒但所住的地方被殺之時，你還堅守我的名，沒有否認對我的信仰。

我知道你的行為。看哪，我在你面前給你一個敞開的門，是沒有人能關的。我知道你有一點力量，也遵守我的道，沒有否認我的名。

因為有些人偷偷地進來，就是早就被判定受懲罰的不虔誠的人，他們把我們神的恩典變為放縱情慾的機會，並且不認獨一的主宰－我們的主耶穌基督。

我若沒有來教導他們，他們就沒有罪；但如今他們的罪無可推諉了。

僕人知道主人的意思，卻沒預備，又未順他的意思做，那僕人要多受責打；至於那不知道而做了當受責打的事的，要少受責打。多給誰，就向誰多取；多託誰，就向誰多要。」

從前在民間有假先知起來；同樣，將來在你們中間也會有假教師，偷偷地引進使人滅亡的異端。他們甚至不認買他們的主人，自取迅速滅亡。
