For Scripture says,“ Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain,” and“ The worker deserves his wages.”

Scripture says,“ Do not stop an ox from eating while it helps separate the grain from the straw.”( Deuteronomy 25:4) Scripture also says,“ Workers are worthy of their pay.”( Luke 10:7)

有谁当兵自备粮饷呢？有谁栽葡萄园不吃园里的果子呢？有谁牧养牛羊不吃牛羊的奶呢？我说这话，岂是照人的意见；律法不也是这样说吗？就如摩西的律法记着说：“牛在场上踹谷的时候，不可笼住它的嘴。”难道神所挂念的是牛吗？不全是为我们说的吗？分明是为我们说的。因为耕种的当存着指望去耕种；打场的也当存得粮的指望去打场。

主也是这样命定，叫传福音的靠着福音养生。

你们要住在那家，吃喝他们所供给的，因为工人得工价是应当的；不要从这家搬到那家。

行路不要带口袋；不要带两件褂子，也不要带鞋和拐杖。因为工人得饮食是应当的。

“困苦穷乏的雇工，无论是你的弟兄或是在你城里寄居的，你不可欺负他。要当日给他工价，不可等到日落，因为他穷苦，把心放在工价上，恐怕他因你求告耶和华，罪便归你了。

“不可欺压你的邻舍，也不可抢夺他的物。雇工人的工价，不可在你那里过夜，留到早晨。

你们想经上所说是徒然的吗？神所赐、住在我们里面的灵，是恋爱至于嫉妒吗？

经上说：“凡信他的人必不至于羞愧。”

并且圣经既然预先看明，神要叫外邦人因信称义，就早已传福音给亚伯拉罕，说：“万国都必因你得福。”

经上说什么呢？说：“亚伯拉罕信神，这就算为他的义。”

因为经上有话向法老说：“我将你兴起来，特要在你身上彰显我的权能，并要使我的名传遍天下。”

神并没有弃绝他预先所知道的百姓。你们岂不晓得经上论到以利亚是怎么说的呢？他在神面前怎样控告以色列人说：
