So I counsel younger widows to marry, to have children, to manage their homes and to give the enemy no opportunity for slander.

谨守，贞洁，料理家务，待人有恩，顺服自己的丈夫，免得神的道理被毁谤。

凡在轭下作仆人的，当以自己主人配受十分的恭敬，免得神的名和道理被人亵渎。

言语纯全，无可指责，叫那反对的人，既无处可说我们的不是，便自觉羞愧。

他们禁止嫁娶，又禁戒食物，就是神所造、叫那信而明白真道的人感谢着领受的。

那时，总长和总督寻找但以理误国的把柄，为要参他；只是找不着他的错误过失，因他忠心办事，毫无错误过失。

她观察家务，并不吃闲饭。她的儿女起来称她有福；她的丈夫也称赞她，说：“才德的女子很多，惟独你超过一切！”

我对着没有嫁娶的和寡妇说，若他们常像我就好。倘若自己禁止不住，就可以嫁娶。与其欲火攻心，倒不如嫁娶为妙。

智慧妇人建立家室；愚妄妇人亲手拆毁。

所以，我们不可再彼此论断，宁可定意谁也不给弟兄放下绊脚跌人之物。

我愿男人无忿怒，无争论，举起圣洁的手，随处祷告；

他们问亚伯拉罕说：“你妻子撒拉在哪里？”他说：“在帐棚里。”

只是你行这事，叫耶和华的仇敌大得亵渎的机会，故此，你所得的孩子必定要死。”

百姓站在那里观看。官府也嗤笑他，说：“他救了别人；他若是基督，神所拣选的，可以救自己吧！”兵丁也戏弄他，上前拿醋送给他喝，说：“你若是犹太人的王，可以救自己吧！”在耶稣以上有一个牌子写着：“这是犹太人的王。”那同钉的两个犯人有一个讥笑他，说：“你不是基督吗？可以救自己和我们吧！”那一个就应声责备他，说：“你既是一样受刑的，还不怕神吗？我们是应该的，因我们所受的与我们所做的相称，但这个人没有做过一件不好的事。”

亚伯拉罕急忙进帐棚见撒拉，说：“你速速拿三细亚细面调和做饼。”

你们若为基督的名受辱骂，便是有福的；因为神荣耀的灵常住在你们身上。你们中间却不可有人因为杀人、偷窃、作恶、好管闲事而受苦。

我现在所做的，后来还要做，为要断绝那些寻机会人的机会，使他们在所夸的事上也不过与我们一样。

婚姻，人人都当尊重，床也不可污秽；因为苟合行淫的人，神必要审判。

至于年轻的寡妇，就可以辞她；因为她们的情欲发动，违背基督的时候就想要嫁人。
