And he will bless you in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.The Lord will establish you as a people holy to himself, as he has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in his ways.And all the peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you.And the Lord will make you abound in prosperity, in the fruit of your womb and in the fruit of your livestock and in the fruit of your ground, within the land that the Lord swore to your fathers to give you.The Lord will open to you his good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands. And you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you shall only go up and not down, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, being careful to do them,and if you do not turn aside from any of the words that I command you today, to the right hand or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

Better is the little that the righteous has than the abundance of many wicked.For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous.The Lord knows the days of the blameless, and their heritage will remain forever;they are not put to shame in evil times; in the days of famine they have abundance.

Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways!You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you.Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table.Behold, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the Lord.The Lord bless you from Zion! May you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life!May you see your children’s children! Peace be upon Israel!

“ Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, I will testify against you. I am God, your God.Not for your sacrifices do I rebuke you; your burnt offerings are continually before me.I will not accept a bull from your house or goats from your folds.For every beast of the forest is mine, the cattle on a thousand hills.I know all the birds of the hills, and all that moves in the field is mine.“ If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world and its fullness are mine.Do I eat the flesh of bulls or drink the blood of goats?Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and perform your vows to the Most High,and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.”

And the effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever.My people will abide in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.

“ Can a man be profitable to God? Surely he who is wise is profitable to himself.

‘ Why have we fasted, and you see it not? Why have we humbled ourselves, and you take no knowledge of it?’ Behold, in the day of your fast you seek your own pleasure, and oppress all your workers.Behold, you fast only to quarrel and to fight and to hit with a wicked fist. Fasting like yours this day will not make your voice to be heard on high.Is such the fast that I choose, a day for a person to humble himself? Is it to bow down his head like a reed, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? Will you call this a fast, and a day acceptable to the Lord?

The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name.

( which is symbolic for the present age). According to this arrangement, gifts and sacrifices are offered that cannot perfect the conscience of the worshiper,but deal only with food and drink and various washings, regulations for the body imposed until the time of reformation.

His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence,by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.

Food will not commend us to God. We are no worse off if we do not eat, and no better off if we do.

The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.

The saying is trustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for people.

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life.

Instead, seek his kingdom, and these things will be added to you.“ Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

You know the commandments:‘ Do not murder, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honor your father and mother.’”And he said to him,“ Teacher, all these I have kept from my youth.”
