( If anyone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he take care of God’s church?)

人若不知道管理自己的家，焉能照管神的教会呢？

人若不知道管理自己的家，怎能照管上帝的教会呢？

人若不知道管理自己的家，怎能照管神的教会呢？

一个人要是不懂得管理自己的家，又怎能照顾上帝的教会呢？

（人若不知道怎样管理自己的家，怎能照料神的教会呢？）

但如果有人不知道怎么带领自己的家，他怎么能照顾神的教会呢？

人若不知道管理自己的家，焉能照管神的教會呢？

人若不知道管理自己的家，怎能照管上帝的教會呢？

人若不知道管理自己的家，怎能照管神的教會呢？

一個人要是不懂得管理自己的家，又怎能照顧上帝的教會呢？

人若不曉得督導自己的家，怎能照顧上帝的教會呢？

但如果有人不知道怎麼帶領自己的家，他怎麼能照顧神的教會呢？

蓋不知齊家、何能理上帝會乎、

家不克齊、焉能理上帝會乎、

人不知齊其家、焉能理天主教會、

蓋不能自齊其家者、焉能治理天主之教會乎？

( If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God’s church?)

Suppose someone doesn’t know how to manage his own family. Then how can he take care of God’s church?

for if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God’s church?

For if a man cannot manage his own household, how can he take care of God’s church?

( but if a man does not know how to manage his own household, how will he take care of the church of God?),

( for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?);

( but if a man knoweth not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

( If anyone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he take care of God’s church?)

( For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

But if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for the church of God?

( but how could someone who doesn’t know how to rule one’s own house take care of God’s assembly?)

I told him that I am going to judge his family forever because of the iniquity he knows about: his sons are cursing God, and he has not stopped them.

Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives are to submit to their husbands in everything.

Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as overseers, to shepherd the church of God, which he purchased with his own blood.

This mystery is profound, but I am talking about Christ and the church.

But if I should be delayed, I have written so that you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.

Why, then, do all of you despise my sacrifices and offerings that I require at the place of worship? You have honored your sons more than me, by making yourselves fat with the best part of all of the offerings of my people Israel.’“ Therefore, this is the declaration of the LORD, the God of Israel:‘ I did say that your family and your forefather’s family would walk before me forever. Give no offense to Jews or Greeks or the church of God,

And he subjected everything under his feet and appointed him as head over everything for the church,
