I charge[ thee] therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of[ this] life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.And if a man also strive for masteries,[ yet] is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.

But ye know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he hath served with me in the gospel.

Unto Timothy,[ my] own son in the faith: Grace, mercy,[ and] peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high[ places].Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and[ before] Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;That thou keep[ this] commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

To Timothy,[ my] dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy,[ and] peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

I have fought a good fight, I have finished[ my] course, I have kept the faith:

I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:

To Titus,[ mine] own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy,[ and] peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.

For every creature of God[ is] good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:( For the weapons of our warfare[ are] not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
