From the sole of his feet to the top of his head he was perfect in appearance.When he would shave his head– at the end of every year he used to shave his head, for it grew too long and he would shave it– he used to weigh the hair of his head at three pounds according to the king’s weight.

the sons of God saw that the daughters of humankind were beautiful. Thus they took wives for themselves from any they chose.

We even saw the Nephilim there( the descendants of Anak came from the Nephilim), and we seemed liked grasshoppers both to ourselves and to them.”

So they ran and brought him from there. When he took his position among the people, he stood head and shoulders above them all.Then Samuel said to all the people,“ Do you see the one whom the LORD has chosen? Indeed, there is no one like him among all the people!” All the people shouted out,“ Long live the king!”
