又建造仓库，收藏五谷、新酒和油；又为各类牲畜盖棚栏、羊圈。他又为自己建造城镇，并且拥有大批牛羊牲口，因为神赐给他极多的财物。

所罗门每天的食物是细面粉五千公升、粗面粉一万公升、肥牛十头、草场的牛二十头、羊一百只，此外还有鹿、羚羊、狍子和肥禽。
