And they said,“ If you are going to send the ark of the God of Israel away, do not send it empty; but you shall certainly return to Him a guilt offering. Then you will be healed, and it will be revealed to you why His hand does not leave you.”

他们答道：“你们若把以色列上帝的约柜送回去，不可空手送去，一定要向他献上赔罪的礼物，这样你们就可以得到医治，也可以知道他为什么惩罚你们。”

他们回答：“你们把以色列神的约柜送回去的时候，不可空空地把它送回去，却要偿还赔罪的礼物，这样，你们就可以得着医治，也可以知道，为什么他的手没有离开你们。”

他们回答：“如果你们要送回以色列神的约柜，不要空手送回，一定要把赔罪的礼物带给以色列的神。这样你们就可以痊愈，也知道为什么他的手不离开你们。”

他們回答：“你們把以色列神的約櫃送回去的時候，不可空空地把它送回去，卻要償還賠罪的禮物，這樣，你們就可以得著醫治，也可以知道，為甚麼他的手沒有離開你們。”

他們說：『若要將以色列上帝的櫃送走，你們不可空空送去，總要將賠罪禮物還給他，然後能得醫好，也能知道他的手為甚麼沒有離開你們。』

他們回答：「如果你們要送回以色列神的約櫃，不要空手送回，一定要把賠罪的禮物帶給以色列的神。這樣你們就可以痊癒，也知道為什麼他的手不離開你們。」

曰、如欲遣以色列上帝之匱、勿使徒去、必獻補過之祭、乃可得醫、且知其手不離於爾之故、

曰、如欲遣歸以色列族上帝之匱、毋使徒去、必獻補過之祭、則可得醫、而降災不輟之故、由是而知。

曰、如欲遣歸以色列天主之匱、不可使之徒去、當獻贖愆祭、乃得痊愈、而其降災不離爾之故、亦由是可知、

They answered,“ If you return the ark of the god of Israel, do not send it back to him without a gift; by all means send a guilt offering to him. Then you will be healed, and you will know why his hand has not been lifted from you.”

They answered,“ If you return the ark of the god of Israel, don’t send it back to him without a gift. Be sure you send a guilt offering to their god along with it. Then you will be healed. You will find out why his power has continued to be against you.”

They said,“ If you send away the ark of the God of Israel, do not send it empty, but by all means return him a guilt offering. Then you will be healed, and it will be known to you why his hand does not turn away from you.”

“ Send the Ark of the God of Israel back with a gift,” they were told.“ Send a guilt offering so the plague will stop. Then, if you are healed, you will know it was his hand that caused the plague.”

They replied,“ If you send the ark of Israel’s God away, do not send it without an offering. Send back a guilt offering to him, and you will be healed. Then the reason his hand hasn’t been removed from you will be revealed.”

So they said,“ If you send away the ark of the God of Israel, do not send it empty; but by all means return it to Him with a trespass offering. Then you will be healed, and it will be known to you why His hand is not removed from you.”

And they said, If ye send away the ark of the God of Israel, send it not empty; but by all means return him a trespass- offering: then ye shall be healed, and it shall be known to you why his hand is not removed from you.

They replied,“ If you send the ark of Israel’s God away, you must not send it without an offering. You must send back a restitution offering to Him, and you will be healed. Then the reason His hand hasn’t been removed from you will be revealed.”

And they said, If ye send away the ark of the God of Israel, send it not empty; but in any wise return him a trespass offering: then ye shall be healed, and it shall be known to you why his hand is not removed from you.

They replied,“ If you are going to send the ark of the God of Israel back, don’t send it away empty. Be sure to return it with a guilt offering. Then you will be healed, and you will understand why his hand is not removed from you.”

They said,“ If you send away the ark of the God of Israel, don’t send it empty; but by all means return a trespass offering to him. Then you will be healed, and it will be known to you why his hand is not removed from you.”

But watch: if it goes up by the way of its own territory to Beth shemesh, then He has done this great evil to us. But if not, then we will know that it was not His hand that struck us; it happened to us by chance.”

You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread; for seven days you are to eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the appointed time in the month of Abib, for in that month you came out of Egypt. And no one is to appear before Me empty handed.

“ Three times a year all your males shall appear before the Lord your God at the place which He chooses: at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, at the Feast of Weeks, and at the Feast of Booths; and they are not to appear before the Lord empty handed.

You shall redeem with a lamb the firstborn from a donkey; and if you do not redeem it, then you shall break its neck. You shall redeem all the firstborn of your sons. None are to appear before Me empty handed.

‘ Now this is the law of the guilt offering; it is most holy.In the place where they slaughter the burnt offering they are to slaughter the guilt offering, and the priest shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.Then he shall offer from it all its fat: the fat tail and the fat that covers the entrails,and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, which is on the loins; and he shall remove the lobe on the liver with the kidneys.The priest shall offer them up in smoke on the altar as an offering by fire to the Lord; it is a guilt offering.Every male among the priests may eat it. It shall be eaten in a holy place; it is most holy.The guilt offering is like the sin offering: there is one law for them. The priest who makes atonement with it shall have it.

I will say to God,‘ Do not condemn me; Let me know why You contend with me.

After they had taken it away, the hand of the Lord was against the city, creating a very great panic; and He struck the people of the city, from the young to the old, so that tumors broke out on them.

“ For has anyone said to God,‘ I have endured punishment; I will not offend anymore;Teach me what I do not see; If I have done wrong, I will not do it again’?

When the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said,“ The ark of the God of Israel must not remain with us, because His hand is severe on us and on Dagon our god.”

Then he shall bring to the priest his guilt offering to the Lord, a ram without defect from the flock, according to your assessment, as a guilt offering,

He shall also bring his guilt offering to the Lord for his sin which he has committed, a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat as a sin offering. So the priest shall make atonement on his behalf for his sin.

Therefore they sent word and gathered all the governors of the Philistines, and said,“ Send away the ark of the God of Israel and let it return to its own place, so that it will not kill us and our people!” For there was a deadly panic throughout the city; the hand of God was very heavy there.

“ If a person acts unfaithfully and sins unintentionally against the Lord’s holy things, then he shall bring his guilt offering to the Lord: a ram without defect from the flock, according to your assessment in silver by shekels, in terms of the shekel of the sanctuary, as a guilt offering.And he shall make restitution for that which he has sinned against the holy thing, and shall add to it a fifth part of it and give it to the priest. The priest shall then make atonement for him with the ram of the guilt offering, and it will be forgiven him.“ Now if a person sins and does any of the things which the Lord has commanded not to be done, though he was unaware, he is still guilty and shall bear his punishment.He is then to bring to the priest a ram without defect from the flock, according to your assessment, as a guilt offering. So the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin which he committed unintentionally and did not know it, and it will be forgiven him.It is a guilt offering; he was certainly guilty before the Lord.”
