他们答道：“你们若把以色列上帝的约柜送回去，不可空手送去，一定要向他献上赔罪的礼物，这样你们就可以得到医治，也可以知道他为什么惩罚你们。”

他们回答：“你们把以色列神的约柜送回去的时候，不可空空地把它送回去，却要偿还赔罪的礼物，这样，你们就可以得着医治，也可以知道，为什么他的手没有离开你们。”

他们回答：“如果你们要送回以色列神的约柜，不要空手送回，一定要把赔罪的礼物带给以色列的神。这样你们就可以痊愈，也知道为什么他的手不离开你们。”

他們回答：“你們把以色列神的約櫃送回去的時候，不可空空地把它送回去，卻要償還賠罪的禮物，這樣，你們就可以得著醫治，也可以知道，為甚麼他的手沒有離開你們。”

他們說：『若要將以色列上帝的櫃送走，你們不可空空送去，總要將賠罪禮物還給他，然後能得醫好，也能知道他的手為甚麼沒有離開你們。』

他們回答：「如果你們要送回以色列神的約櫃，不要空手送回，一定要把賠罪的禮物帶給以色列的神。這樣你們就可以痊癒，也知道為什麼他的手不離開你們。」

曰、如欲遣以色列上帝之匱、勿使徒去、必獻補過之祭、乃可得醫、且知其手不離於爾之故、

They answered,“ If you return the ark of the god of Israel, do not send it back to him without a gift; by all means send a guilt offering to him. Then you will be healed, and you will know why his hand has not been lifted from you.”

“ Send the Ark of the God of Israel back with a gift,” they were told.“ Send a guilt offering so the plague will stop. Then, if you are healed, you will know it was his hand that caused the plague.”

They replied,“ If you send the ark of Israel’s God away, do not send it without an offering. Send back a guilt offering to him, and you will be healed. Then the reason his hand hasn’t been removed from you will be revealed.”

And they said,“ If you are going to send the ark of the God of Israel away, do not send it empty; but you shall certainly return to Him a guilt offering. Then you will be healed, and it will be revealed to you why His hand does not leave you.”

So they said,“ If you send away the ark of the God of Israel, do not send it empty; but by all means return it to Him with a trespass offering. Then you will be healed, and it will be known to you why His hand is not removed from you.”

And they said, If ye send away the ark of the God of Israel, send it not empty; but by all means return him a trespass- offering: then ye shall be healed, and it shall be known to you why his hand is not removed from you.

They replied,“ If you send the ark of Israel’s God away, you must not send it without an offering. You must send back a restitution offering to Him, and you will be healed. Then the reason His hand hasn’t been removed from you will be revealed.”

And they said, If ye send away the ark of the God of Israel, send it not empty; but in any wise return him a trespass offering: then ye shall be healed, and it shall be known to you why his hand is not removed from you.

They replied,“ If you are going to send the ark of the God of Israel back, don’t send it away empty. Be sure to return it with a guilt offering. Then you will be healed, and you will understand why his hand is not removed from you.”

They said,“ If you send away the ark of the God of Israel, don’t send it empty; but by all means return a trespass offering to him. Then you will be healed, and it will be known to you why his hand is not removed from you.”

but keep watching it. If it goes up to its own territory, toward Beth Shemesh, then the Lord has brought this great disaster on us. But if it does not, then we will know that it was not his hand that struck us but that it happened to us by chance.” (niv)

“ Celebrate the Festival of Unleavened Bread; for seven days eat bread made without yeast, as I commanded you. Do this at the appointed time in the month of Aviv, for in that month you came out of Egypt.“ No one is to appear before me empty-handed. (niv)

Three times a year all your men must appear before the Lord your God at the place he will choose: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks and the Festival of Tabernacles. No one should appear before the Lord empty-handed: (niv)

Redeem the firstborn donkey with a lamb, but if you do not redeem it, break its neck. Redeem all your firstborn sons.“ No one is to appear before me empty-handed. (niv)

“‘ These are the regulations for the guilt offering, which is most holy:The guilt offering is to be slaughtered in the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered, and its blood is to be splashed against the sides of the altar.All its fat shall be offered: the fat tail and the fat that covers the internal organs,both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the long lobe of the liver, which is to be removed with the kidneys.The priest shall burn them on the altar as a food offering presented to the Lord. It is a guilt offering.Any male in a priest’s family may eat it, but it must be eaten in the sanctuary area; it is most holy.“‘ The same law applies to both the sin offering and the guilt offering: They belong to the priest who makes atonement with them. (niv)

I say to God: Do not declare me guilty, but tell me what charges you have against me. (niv)

But after they had moved it, the Lord’s hand was against that city, throwing it into a great panic. He afflicted the people of the city, both young and old, with an outbreak of tumors. (niv)

“ Suppose someone says to God,‘ I am guilty but will offend no more.Teach me what I cannot see; if I have done wrong, I will not do so again.’ (niv)

When the people of Ashdod saw what was happening, they said,“ The ark of the god of Israel must not stay here with us, because his hand is heavy on us and on Dagon our god.” (niv)

And as a penalty they must bring to the priest, that is, to the Lord, their guilt offering, a ram from the flock, one without defect and of the proper value. (niv)

As a penalty for the sin they have committed, they must bring to the Lord a female lamb or goat from the flock as a sin offering; and the priest shall make atonement for them for their sin. (niv)

So they called together all the rulers of the Philistines and said,“ Send the ark of the god of Israel away; let it go back to its own place, or it will kill us and our people.” For death had filled the city with panic; God’s hand was very heavy on it. (niv)

“ When anyone is unfaithful to the Lord by sinning unintentionally in regard to any of the Lord’s holy things, they are to bring to the Lord as a penalty a ram from the flock, one without defect and of the proper value in silver, according to the sanctuary shekel. It is a guilt offering.They must make restitution for what they have failed to do in regard to the holy things, pay an additional penalty of a fifth of its value and give it all to the priest. The priest will make atonement for them with the ram as a guilt offering, and they will be forgiven.“ If anyone sins and does what is forbidden in any of the Lord’s commands, even though they do not know it, they are guilty and will be held responsible.They are to bring to the priest as a guilt offering a ram from the flock, one without defect and of the proper value. In this way the priest will make atonement for them for the wrong they have committed unintentionally, and they will be forgiven.It is a guilt offering; they have been guilty of wrongdoing against the Lord.” (niv)
