And Araunah said unto David, Let my lord the king take and offer up what[ seemeth] good unto him: behold,[ here be] oxen for burnt sacrifice, and threshing instruments and[ other] instruments of the oxen for wood.

And there was peace between Israel and the Amorites.And Samuel judged Israel all the days of his life.And he went from year to year in circuit to Bethel, and Gilgal, and Mizpeh, and judged Israel in all those places.And his return[ was] to Ramah; for there[ was] his house; and there he judged Israel; and there he built an altar unto the LORD.

And it came to pass on the morrow, that the people rose early, and built there an altar, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings.
