求我主我王聽僕言、如主使爾逼迫我、可饗祭物、如人慫恿爾、願其在主前受咒詛、蓋驅我不容居於主之民中、主之民中原文作主之業中謂我曰、往事他神、

Now let my lord the king listen to his servant’s words. If the Lord has incited you against me, then may he accept an offering. If, however, people have done it, may they be cursed before the Lord! They have driven me today from my share in the Lord’s inheritance and have said,‘ Go, serve other gods.’

King Saul, please listen to what I’m saying. Was it the Lord who made you angry with me? If it was, may he accept my offering. Was it people who made you angry at me? If it was, may the Lord see them cursed. They have driven me today from my share of the Lord’ s land. By doing that, they might as well have said,‘ Go and serve other gods.’

Now therefore let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If it is the Lord who has stirred you up against me, may he accept an offering, but if it is men, may they be cursed before the Lord, for they have driven me out this day that I should have no share in the heritage of the Lord, saying,‘ Go, serve other gods.’

But now let my lord the king listen to his servant. If the Lord has stirred you up against me, then let him accept my offering. But if this is simply a human scheme, then may those involved be cursed by the Lord. For they have driven me from my home, so I can no longer live among the Lord’s people, and they have said,‘ Go, worship pagan gods.’

Now, may my lord the king please hear the words of his servant: If it is the LORD who has incited you against me, then may he accept an offering. But if it is people, may they be cursed in the presence of the LORD, for today they have banished me from sharing in the inheritance of the LORD, saying,‘ Go and worship other gods.’

Now then, please let my lord the king listen to the words of his servant. If the Lord has incited you against me, may He accept an offering; but if it is people, cursed are they before the Lord, because they have driven me out today so that I would have no share in the inheritance of the Lord, saying,‘ Go, serve other gods.’

Now therefore, please, let my Lord the king hear the words of his servant: If the Lord has stirred you up against me, let Him accept an offering. But if it is the children of men, may they be cursed before the Lord, for they have driven me out this day from sharing in the inheritance of the Lord, saying,‘ Go, serve other gods.’

If it be Jehovah that hath stirred thee up against me, let him accept an offering: but if it be the children of men, cursed be they before Jehovah; for they have driven me out this day that I should not cleave unto the inheritance of Jehovah, saying, Go, serve other gods.

Now, may my lord the king please hear the words of his servant: If it is the Lord who has incited you against me, then may He accept an offering. But if it is people, may they be cursed in the presence of the Lord, for today they have driven me away from sharing in the inheritance of the Lord saying,‘ Go and worship other gods.’

Now therefore, I pray thee, let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If the LORD have stirred thee up against me, let him accept an offering: but if[ they be] the children of men, cursed[ be] they before the LORD; for they have driven me out this day from abiding in the inheritance of the LORD, saying, Go, serve other gods.

So let my lord the king now listen to the words of his servant. If the LORD has incited you against me, may he take delight in an offering. But if men have instigated this, may they be cursed before the LORD! For they have driven me away this day from being united with the LORD’s inheritance, saying,‘ Go on, serve other gods!’

Now therefore, please let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If it is so that Yahweh has stirred you up against me, let him accept an offering. But if it is the children of men, they are cursed before Yahweh; for they have driven me out today that I shouldn’t cling to Yahweh’s inheritance, saying,‘ Go, serve other gods!’

Perhaps the king will agree to deliver his servant from the hand of the man who is trying to cut off both me and my son from God’s inheritance.’ (niv)

We are the peaceful and faithful in Israel. You are trying to destroy a city that is a mother in Israel. Why do you want to swallow up the Lord’s inheritance?” (niv)

David then said to Abishai and all his officials,“ My son, my own flesh and blood, is trying to kill me. How much more, then, this Benjamite! Leave him alone; let him curse, for the Lord has told him to. (niv)

Satan rose up against Israel and incited David to take a census of Israel. (niv)

But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse! (niv)

The Lord has made the Jordan a boundary between us and you— you Reubenites and Gadites! You have no share in the Lord.’ So your descendants might cause ours to stop fearing the Lord.“ That is why we said,‘ Let us get ready and build an altar— but not for burnt offerings or sacrifices.’On the contrary, it is to be a witness between us and you and the generations that follow, that we will worship the Lord at his sanctuary with our burnt offerings, sacrifices and fellowship offerings. Then in the future your descendants will not be able to say to ours,‘ You have no share in the Lord.’ (niv)

I will turn your cities into ruins and lay waste your sanctuaries, and I will take no delight in the pleasing aroma of your offerings. (niv)

There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him:haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil,a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community. (niv)

Now the Spirit of the Lord had departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord tormented him.Saul’s attendants said to him,“ See, an evil spirit from God is tormenting you.Let our lord command his servants here to search for someone who can play the lyre. He will play when the evil spirit from God comes on you, and you will feel better.”So Saul said to his attendants,“ Find someone who plays well and bring him to me.”One of the servants answered,“ I have seen a son of Jesse of Bethlehem who knows how to play the lyre. He is a brave man and a warrior. He speaks well and is a fine-looking man. And the Lord is with him.”Then Saul sent messengers to Jesse and said,“ Send me your son David, who is with the sheep.”So Jesse took a donkey loaded with bread, a skin of wine and a young goat and sent them with his son David to Saul.David came to Saul and entered his service. Saul liked him very much, and David became one of his armor-bearers.Then Saul sent word to Jesse, saying,“ Allow David to remain in my service, for I am pleased with him.”Whenever the spirit from God came on Saul, David would take up his lyre and play. Then relief would come to Saul; he would feel better, and the evil spirit would leave him. (niv)

Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy; the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the nations will come. (niv)

Again the anger of the Lord burned against Israel, and he incited David against them, saying,“ Go and take a census of Israel and Judah.” (niv)

Alexander the metalworker did me a great deal of harm. The Lord will repay him for what he has done. (niv)

If your brother or sister is distressed because of what you eat, you are no longer acting in love. Do not by your eating destroy someone for whom Christ died. (niv)

She fell at his feet and said:“ Pardon your servant, my lord, and let me speak to you; hear what your servant has to say. (niv)

The Lord will scatter you among the peoples, and only a few of you will survive among the nations to which the Lord will drive you.There you will worship man-made gods of wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or eat or smell. (niv)
