掃羅認出大衛的聲音來，就說：『我兒大衛、這是你的聲音麼？』大衛說：『我主我王啊，正是我的聲音。』

掃羅認出大衛的聲音，就問：「我兒大衛，這是你的聲音嗎？」大衛回答：「我主我王啊，是我的聲音。」

掃羅識大衛聲、遂曰、我子大衛、此爾聲乎、大衛曰、王歟、我主、是我聲也、

掃羅識大闢聲、曰、我子大闢、此非爾聲乎。大闢曰、我主歟、我王歟、是也。

Saul recognized David’s voice and said,“ Is that your voice, David my son?” David replied,“ Yes it is, my lord the king.”

Saul recognized David’s voice. He said,“ My son David, is that your voice?” David replied,“ Yes it is, King Saul, my master.”

Saul recognized David’s voice and said,“ Is this your voice, my son David?” And David said,“ It is my voice, my lord, O king.”

Saul recognized David’s voice and called out,“ Is that you, my son David?” And David replied,“ Yes, my lord the king.

Saul recognized David’s voice and asked,“ Is that your voice, my son David?”“ It is my voice, my lord and king,” David said.

Then Saul recognized David’s voice and said,“ Is this your voice, my son David?” And David said,“ It is my voice, my lord the king.”

Then Saul knew David’s voice, and said,“ Is that your voice, my son David?” David said,“ It is my voice, my Lord, O king.”

And Saul knew David’s voice, and said, Is this thy voice, my son David? And David said, It is my voice, my lord, O king.

Saul recognized David’s voice and asked,“ Is that your voice, my son David?”“ It is my voice, my lord and king,” David said.

And Saul knew David’s voice, and said,[ Is] this thy voice, my son David? And David said,[ It is] my voice, my lord, O king.

When Saul recognized David’s voice, he said,“ Is that your voice, my son David?” David replied,“ Yes, it’s my voice, my lord the king.”

Saul knew David’s voice, and said,“ Is this your voice, my son David?” David said,“ It is my voice, my lord, O king.”

When David finished saying this, Saul asked,“ Is that your voice, David my son?” And he wept aloud. (niv)

Then David went out of the cave and called out to Saul,“ My lord the king!” When Saul looked behind him, David bowed down and prostrated himself with his face to the ground. (niv)
