大卫的人对大卫说：“看哪，这日子到了！耶和华曾对你说：‘看哪，我要将你的仇敌交在你手里，你可以照你看为好的对待他。’”大卫就起来，悄悄地割下扫罗外袍的衣角。

從者曰、昔耶和華謂爾曰、我將以敵付於爾手、任意待之、今日是矣、大衛遂起、竊斷掃羅衣裾、

從者曰、昔耶和華告爾、必以敵付於爾手、任意以行、今日果應斯言矣。大闢起、竊斷掃羅裾。

大衛之從者謂大衛曰、主曾告爾、必以敵付於爾手、可任意以待之、今日斯言應矣、大衛起、潛割掃羅外衣裾、

The men said,“ This is the day the Lord spoke of when he said to you,‘ I will give your enemy into your hands for you to deal with as you wish.’” Then David crept up unnoticed and cut off a corner of Saul’s robe.

David’s men said,“ This is the day the Lord told you about. He said to you,‘ I will hand your enemy over to you. Then you can deal with him as you want to.’ ” So David came up close to Saul without being seen. He cut off a corner of Saul’s robe.

And the men of David said to him,“ Here is the day of which the Lord said to you,‘ Behold, I will give your enemy into your hand, and you shall do to him as it shall seem good to you.’” Then David arose and stealthily cut off a corner of Saul’s robe.

“ Now’s your opportunity!” David’s men whispered to him.“ Today the Lord is telling you,‘ I will certainly put your enemy into your power, to do with as you wish.’” So David crept forward and cut off a piece of the hem of Saul’s robe.

so they said to him,“ Look, this is the day the LORD told you about:‘ I will hand your enemy over to you so you can do to him whatever you desire.’” Then David got up and secretly cut off the corner of Saul’s robe.

Then David’s men said to him,“ Behold, this is the day of which the Lord said to you,‘ Behold; I am about to hand your enemy over to you, and you shall do to him as it seems good to you.’ ” Then David got up and cut off the edge of Saul’s robe secretly.

Then the men of David said to him,“ This is the day of which the Lord said to you,‘ Behold, I will deliver your enemy into your hand, that you may do to him as it seems good to you.’” And David arose and secretly cut off a corner of Saul’s robe.

And the men of David said unto him, Behold, the day of which Jehovah said unto thee, Behold, I will deliver thine enemy into thy hand, and thou shalt do to him as it shall seem good unto thee. Then David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul’s robe privily.

so they said to him,“ Look, this is the day the Lord told you about:‘ I will hand your enemy over to you so you can do to him whatever you desire.’” Then David got up and secretly cut off the corner of Saul’s robe.

And the men of David said unto him, Behold the day of which the LORD said unto thee, Behold, I will deliver thine enemy into thine hand, that thou mayest do to him as it shall seem good unto thee. Then David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul’s robe privily.

David’s men said to him,“ This is the day about which the LORD said to you,‘ I will give your enemy into your hand, and you can do to him whatever seems appropriate to you.’” So David got up and quietly cut off an edge of Saul’s robe.

David’s men said to him,“ Behold, the day of which Yahweh said to you,‘ Behold, I will deliver your enemy into your hand, and you shall do to him as it shall seem good to you.’” Then David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul’s robe secretly.

Abishai said to David,“ Today God has delivered your enemy into your hands. Now let me pin him to the ground with one thrust of the spear; I won’t strike him twice.”But David said to Abishai,“ Don’t destroy him! Who can lay a hand on the Lord’s anointed and be guiltless?As surely as the Lord lives,” he said,“ the Lord himself will strike him, or his time will come and he will die, or he will go into battle and perish.But the Lord forbid that I should lay a hand on the Lord’s anointed. Now get the spear and water jug that are near his head, and let’s go.” (niv)

The Lord rewards everyone for their righteousness and faithfulness. The Lord delivered you into my hands today, but I would not lay a hand on the Lord’s anointed. (niv)

This day you have seen with your own eyes how the Lord delivered you into my hands in the cave. Some urged me to kill you, but I spared you; I said,‘ I will not lay my hand on my lord, because he is the Lord’s anointed.’ (niv)

Saul was told that David had gone to Keilah, and he said,“ God has delivered him into my hands, for David has imprisoned himself by entering a town with gates and bars.” (niv)

You have just now told me about the good you did to me; the Lord delivered me into your hands, but you did not kill me. (niv)

“ Please forgive your servant’s presumption. The Lord your God will certainly make a lasting dynasty for my lord, because you fight the Lord’s battles, and no wrongdoing will be found in you as long as you live.Even though someone is pursuing you to take your life, the life of my lord will be bound securely in the bundle of the living by the Lord your God, but the lives of your enemies he will hurl away as from the pocket of a sling.When the Lord has fulfilled for my lord every good thing he promised concerning him and has appointed him ruler over Israel, (niv)

“ Don’t be afraid,” he said.“ My father Saul will not lay a hand on you. You will be king over Israel, and I will be second to you. Even my father Saul knows this.” (niv)

They brought the head of Ish- Bosheth to David at Hebron and said to the king,“ Here is the head of Ish- Bosheth son of Saul, your enemy, who tried to kill you. This day the Lord has avenged my lord the king against Saul and his offspring.” (niv)
