Saul was told that David had gone to Keilah, and he said,“ God has delivered him into my hands, for David has imprisoned himself by entering a town with gates and bars.”

Saul was told that David had gone to Keilah. He said,“ God has handed him over to me. David has trapped himself by entering a town that has gates with metal bars.”

Now it was told Saul that David had come to Keilah. And Saul said,“ God has given him into my hand, for he has shut himself in by entering a town that has gates and bars.”

Saul soon learned that David was at Keilah.“ Good!” he exclaimed.“ We’ve got him now! God has handed him over to me, for he has trapped himself in a walled town!”

When it was reported to Saul that David had gone to Keilah, he said,“ God has handed him over to me, for he has trapped himself by entering a town with barred gates.”

When it was reported to Saul that David had come to Keilah, Saul said,“ God has handed him over to me, for he shut himself in by entering a city with double gates and bars.”

And Saul was told that David had gone to Keilah. So Saul said,“ God has delivered him into my hand, for he has shut himself in by entering a town that has gates and bars.”

And it was told Saul that David was come to Keilah. And Saul said, God hath delivered him into my hand; for he is shut in, by entering into a town that hath gates and bars.

When it was reported to Saul that David had gone to Keilah, he said,“ God has handed him over to me, for he has trapped himself by entering a town with barred gates.”

Saul was told that David had come to Keilah. Saul said,“ God has delivered him into my hand; for he is shut in by entering into a town that has gates and bars.”

大衛的部下對他說：「耶和華曾對你說：『看哪，我要將你的仇敵交在你手中，你可以按你看為好的對待他。』看，今天就是了！」於是大衛起來，悄悄割下掃羅外袍的衣擺。隨後大衛因割下掃羅的衣擺而心中自責，就對部下說：「耶和華絕不允許我對耶和華的受膏者我主做這樣的事，我絕不對他下手，因為他是耶和華的受膏者。」

亞比篩對大衛說：「今天神把你的仇敵交在你手中了。現在，請讓我用長矛把他一槍刺透在地，不用第二槍。」大衛對亞比篩說：「不要殺害他！有誰對耶和華的受膏者下手而能免受罪責呢？」

因為我的仇敵議論我，伺機要害我命的人一同商議，他們說：「神已經離棄了他。追趕他，抓住他，因為沒有人救他！」

大衛住在曠野的各個要塞裡，或住在西弗曠野的山地。掃羅天天尋索大衛，神卻不把大衛交在他手中。

因為日子將臨到你，你的敵人要築起壁壘包圍你，四面困住你。而且，他們要將你和你裡面的兒女猛摔在地，不容你裡面有一塊石頭留在另一塊石頭上，因為你沒有認出神臨到你的時候。」
