“ Don’t be afraid,” he said.“ My father Saul will not lay a hand on you. You will be king over Israel, and I will be second to you. Even my father Saul knows this.”

And he said to him,“ Do not fear, for the hand of Saul my father shall not find you. You shall be king over Israel, and I shall be next to you. Saul my father also knows this.”

“ Don’t be afraid,” Jonathan reassured him.“ My father will never find you! You are going to be the king of Israel, and I will be next to you, as my father, Saul, is well aware.”

saying,“ Don’t be afraid, for my father Saul will never lay a hand on you. You yourself will be king over Israel, and I’ll be your second-in-command. Even my father Saul knows it is true.”

He said to him,“ Do not be afraid, because the hand of Saul my father will not find you, and you will be king over Israel, and I will be second in command to you; and Saul my father knows that as well.”

And he said unto him, Fear not; for the hand of Saul my father shall not find thee; and thou shalt be king over Israel, and I shall be next unto thee; and that also Saul my father knoweth.

現在我知道你必要作王，以色列的王國必在你手裡堅立起來。

因為只要耶西的兒子還活在這世上，你和你的國就不能穩固。現在，你要派人去把他抓到我這裡來，因為他是該死的。”

所以我們可以放膽說：“主是我的幫助，我決不害怕，人能把我怎麼樣呢？”

為攻擊你而製成的武器，都沒有效用；在審判的時候興起來與你爭辯的舌頭，你都必定它為有罪。這是耶和華眾僕人的產業，他們的義是從我而得；這是耶和華說的。

我們到了羅馬，保羅獲准獨自與看守他的士兵居住。

人心裡的謀算很多，唯有耶和華的計劃能實現。

耶和華是我的亮光，是我的救恩，我還怕誰呢？耶和華是我性命的避難所，我還懼誰呢？（本節在《馬索拉文本》包括細字標題）那些作惡的，就是我的敵人、我的仇敵，他們逼近我，要吃我肉的時候，就絆跌仆倒。雖有軍兵紮營攻擊我，我的心也不害怕；雖然發動戰爭攻擊我，我仍舊安穩。

蟲子雅各啊！以色列人哪！你不要懼怕。我必幫助你；這是耶和華說的。你的救贖主，就是以色列的聖者。

所以，無論我甚麼時候到西班牙去，都希望趁我路過時和你們見面，先稍微滿足我的心願，然後由你們給我送行到那裡去。

如果是出於神，你們就不能破壞他們，恐怕你們是與神作對了。”他們接受了他的勸告，

住在至高者的隱密處的，必在全能者的蔭庇下安居。我要對耶和華說：“你是我的避難所，我的保障，你是我的神，我所倚靠的。”

神是我們的避難所，是我們的力量，是我們在患難中隨時都可得到的幫助。因此，地雖然震動，群山雖然崩塌入海洋的深處，我們也不害怕。

把低微的安置在高位，把哀慟的高舉於安穩之處；又挫敗狡猾人的計謀，使他們的手所作的無法成全；他使有智慧的人中了自己的詭計，使奸詐人的謀算快快失敗。他們白天遇見黑暗，中午摸索如在夜間。他拯救窮乏人脫離他們口中的刀劍，脫離強暴人的手；

不要懼怕，因為我與你同在；不要四處張望，因為我是你的神，我必堅固你，我必幫助你；我必用公義的右手扶持你。

你們這小群，不要怕，因為你們的父樂意把國賜給你們。

敬畏耶和華的，大有倚靠；他的子孫也有避難所。
