他用铜做洗濯盆和盆座，是用会幕门前事奉之妇人的铜镜做的。

这二祭司对待百姓的规矩是这样：凡有人献祭，正煮肉的时候，祭司的仆人就手拿三齿的叉子来，将叉子往盆里，或锅里，或釜里，或壶里一插，插上来的肉，祭司都拿了去。他们对所有上到示罗的以色列人都这样做。甚至在未烧脂肪之前，祭司的仆人就来对献祭的人说：“把肉给祭司，让他烤吧。他不要拿你煮过的肉，要生的。”献祭的人若说：“他们必须先烧脂肪，然后你才可以随意拿。”仆人就说：“不，你立刻给我，不然我就要抢了。”这些年轻人的罪在耶和华面前非常严重，因为这些人藐视耶和华的祭物。

其中的祭司曲解我的律法，亵渎我的圣物，不分别圣与俗，也不使人分辨洁净和不洁净，又遮眼不顾我的安息日；在他们中间连我也被亵慢了。

撒母耳年纪老迈，就立他的儿子作以色列的士师。

你们岂可偷盗，杀害，奸淫，起假誓，向巴力烧香，随从素不认识的别神，又来到这称为我名下的殿，在我面前敬拜，说‘我们平安无事’，为了要行这一切可憎的事呢？

将来百姓所受的，祭司也必承受；我必因他们所行的惩罚他们，照他们所做的报应他们。他们吃，却不得饱足；行淫，却不繁衍；因为他们离弃耶和华，常行淫乱。酒和新酒夺去人的心。
