巴蘭瞻望亞馬力、作歌曰、亞馬力為列國之初興、終亦必亡。

惟赫人、亞摩哩人、迦南人、比哩洗人、希未人、耶布士人、爾之上帝耶和華以其邑付爾得之、爾必盡滅其眾、凡有血氣者、不全其生、遵爾上帝耶和華命。

祭司之邑挪伯、男女、童稚、嬰孩、牛羊、及驢、皆擊以刃。

必以城邑、及其所有、獻耶和華、而盡滅之、惟妓喇合、曾匿我使、故彼與全家、可存其生、所獻與所滅者勿取、恐爾亦為盡滅、使以色列族之營壘服詛、而累於禍。金銀銅鐵之器、必獻耶和華、貯其府庫。於是祭司吹角、民聞之則號呼、其聲清越、城垣傾圮、民得前進、而取其城、盡滅所有、戮男女老幼、牛羊與驢。

今所得之幼稚中、諸男當殺、與人同寢諸婦亦當殺。

謂亞當曰、既聽婦言、食我所禁之樹、故土緣爾見詛、爾畢生鬱伊、食其所產。土將叢生荊棘、汝所食者、惟田之蔬、

父既犯罪、戮及子孫、不復振興、不建邑城、不得寸土。萬有之主耶和華曰、我將勃然而興、滅巴比倫遺民、塗抹其名、延及王之宗室、淪胥以亡、

則必以刃擊斯邑民、滅其牲畜、與凡所有、靡有孑遺。聚其貨財於衢中、與邑同焚、奉爾上帝耶和華、使其邑永為瓦礫、毋得再建。

毋拜跪、無崇奉、以我耶和華、即爾之上帝、斷不容以他上帝匹我、惡我者禍之、自父及子、至三四世、

凡獻我之物、無論人畜田畝、俱不得鬻、亦不得贖、所獻禮物、不可復贖、乃必宰之。

萬物歸於虛、非其心、蓋有使之者、萬物冀得免於敗壞、弗為之奴、享上帝眾子之榮而得釋、吾儕知萬物、至今共嘆劬勞、
