扫罗说：“我们趁着晚上下去追赶非利士人，抢掠他们，直到天亮，不让他们留下一人。”他们说：“你看怎么好，就怎么行吧！”但祭司说：“我们先在这里亲近神！”

扫罗说：“我们不如夜里下去追赶非利士人，抢掠他们，直到天亮，不留他们一人。”众民说：“你看怎样好就去行吧！”祭司说：“我们先当亲近神。”

扫罗说：“我们要在夜里下去追赶非利士人，抢掠他们，直到天亮，不给他们留下一人。”众百姓说：“你看怎样好就做吧！”祭司说：“我们要先在这里亲近上帝。”

扫罗说：“我们要在夜里下去追赶非利士人，抢掠他们，直到天亮，不给他们留下一人。”众百姓说：“你看怎样好就做吧！”祭司说：“我们要先在这里亲近神。”

他对以色列人说：“让我们连夜追赶非利士人，抢夺他们的财物，直到天亮，把他们全部歼灭。”众人答道：“就照你的意思。”但祭司说：“让我们先来求问上帝吧。”

扫罗说：“我们要趁夜下去追赶非利士人，掠夺他们直到天亮，不让他们一人存留。”军兵说：“你看怎样好就怎样做吧！”但祭司说：“让我们在这里求问神。”

掃羅說：「我們不如夜裏下去追趕非利士人，搶掠他們，直到天亮，不留他們一人。」眾民說：「你看怎樣好就去行吧！」祭司說：「我們先當親近神。」

掃羅說：「我們要在夜裏下去追趕非利士人，搶掠他們，直到天亮，不給他們留下一人。」眾百姓說：「你看怎樣好就做吧！」祭司說：「我們要先在這裏親近上帝。」

掃羅說：「我們要趁夜下去追趕非利士人，掠奪他們直到天亮，不讓他們一人存留。」軍兵說：「你看怎樣好就怎樣做吧！」但祭司說：「讓我們在這裡求問神。」

掃羅曰、我儕夤夜追襲非利士人、掠其所有、以至黎明、不留其一人、僉曰、爾視為善者行之、祭司曰、當詣上帝、

掃羅曰、不如乘夜追非利士人、掠其所有、擊之至於黎明、不留其一人、民曰、爾以為當如何行則行之、祭司曰、當在此至天主前、

Saul said,“ Let us go down and pursue the Philistines by night and plunder them till dawn, and let us not leave one of them alive.”“ Do whatever seems best to you,” they replied. But the priest said,“ Let us inquire of God here.”

Saul said,“ Let’s go down and chase after the Philistines tonight. Let’s not leave even one of them alive. Let’s take everything they have before morning.”“ Do what you think is best,” they replied. But the priest said,“ Let’s ask God for advice first.”

Then Saul said,“ Let us go down after the Philistines by night and plunder them until the morning light; let us not leave a man of them.” And they said,“ Do whatever seems good to you.” But the priest said,“ Let us draw near to God here.”

Then Saul said,“ Let’s chase the Philistines all night and plunder them until sunrise. Let’s destroy every last one of them.” His men replied,“ We’ll do whatever you think is best.” But the priest said,“ Let’s ask God first.”

Saul said,“ Let’s go down after the Philistines tonight and plunder them until morning. Don’t let even one remain!”“ Do whatever you want,” the troops replied. But the priest said,“ Let’s approach God here.”

Then Saul said,“ Let’s go down after the Philistines by night and take plunder among them until the morning light, and let’s not leave a man among them alive.” And they said,“ Do whatever seems good to you.” So the priest said,“ Let’s approach God here.”

Now Saul said,“ Let us go down after the Philistines by night, and plunder them until the morning light; and let us not leave a man of them.” And they said,“ Do whatever seems good to you.” Then the priest said,“ Let us draw near to God here.”

And Saul said, Let us go down after the Philistines by night, and take spoil among them until the morning light, and let us not leave a man of them. And they said, Do whatsoever seemeth good unto thee. Then said the priest, Let us draw near hither unto God.

Saul said,“ Let’s go down after the Philistines tonight and plunder them until morning. Don’t let even one remain!”“ Do whatever you want,” the troops replied. But the priest said,“ We must consult God here.”

And Saul said, Let us go down after the Philistines by night, and spoil them until the morning light, and let us not leave a man of them. And they said, Do whatsoever seemeth good unto thee. Then said the priest, Let us draw near hither unto God.

Saul said,“ Let’s go down after the Philistines at night; we will rout them until the break of day. We won’t leave any of them alive!” They replied,“ Do whatever seems best to you.” But the priest said,“ Let’s approach God here.”

Saul said,“ Let’s go down after the Philistines by night, and take plunder among them until the morning light, and let’s not leave a man of them.” They said,“ Do whatever seems good to you.” Then the priest said,“ Let’s draw near here to God.”

雅各家，就是被称为以色列的，从犹大的水源出来的，指着耶和华的名起誓，却不是出于诚实和公义，提说以色列的神的啊！你们要听这话。他们被称为圣城的人，又倚靠以色列的神；他的名字是万军之耶和华。

那些城所有的战利品和牲畜，以色列人都据为己有；只是把所有的人都用刀击杀了，直到把他们杀尽；有气息的，他们没有留下一个。

你们应当亲近神，神就亲近你们。罪人啊，要洁净你们的手；三心两意的人哪，要清洁你们的心。

其中有亚希突的儿子亚希亚带着以弗得；亚希突是以迦博的哥哥，非尼哈的儿子，以利的孙子。以利从前在示罗作耶和华的祭司。约拿单去了，众人都不知道。

他们天天寻求我，乐意明白我的道路，好像行义的国民，不离弃他们神的公理；他们向我求问公义的判语，又喜欢亲近神。

你们却不可站着，要追赶你们的仇敌，从后面击杀他们，不可让他们逃进自己的城中，因为耶和华你们的神已经把他们交在你们的手里了。”

起来！我们趁着夜间上去，毁坏她的堡垒。”

于是约书亚乘夜从吉甲上去，突然来到他们那里。耶和华使他们在以色列人面前溃乱，约书亚在基遍大大地击杀他们，沿着伯．和仑的上坡路追赶他们，击打他们，直到亚西加和玛基大。他们从以色列人面前逃跑，正在下伯．和仑斜坡的时候，耶和华从天上降大冰雹在他们身上，一直到亚西加，打死他们；被冰雹打死的，比以色列人用刀杀死的还多。那时，就是耶和华把亚摩利人交给以色列人的时候，约书亚在以色列人面前对耶和华说：“太阳啊，停在基遍；月亮啊，停在亚雅仑谷。”于是太阳停住，月亮站住，直到以色列人在仇敌的身上报了仇。这事不是写在《雅煞珥书》上吗？太阳在天空中站住，不急速下落，约有一整天。在这日以前或这日以后，耶和华听人的祷告，没有像这日一样的，因为耶和华为以色列作战。

他要站在以利亚撒祭司面前，以利亚撒要藉着乌陵的判断，在耶和华面前为他求问；他和以色列众人，就是全体会众，都要按着以利亚撒的命令出入。”

祭司的嘴当保存知识，人要从他的口中寻求教训，因为他是万军耶和华的使者。

对我来说，亲近神是美好的，我以主耶和华为我的避难所；我要述说你的一切作为。

扫罗对亚希亚说：“把神的约柜运来！”因为那时神的约柜在以色列人那里。扫罗正对祭司说话的时候，非利士营中的骚乱越来越大，扫罗就对祭司说：“住手吧！”

第二天，扫罗把众人分成三队。在晨更的时候，他们进了亚扪人的营中，击杀他们，直到中午；残余的人都星散了，他们中间没有两个人留在一起的。
