They pounced on the plunder and, taking sheep, cattle and calves, they butchered them on the ground and ate them, together with the blood.

They grabbed what they had taken from their enemies. They killed some of the sheep, cattle and calves right there on the ground. They ate the meat while the blood was still in it.

The people pounced on the spoil and took sheep and oxen and calves and slaughtered them on the ground. And the people ate them with the blood.

That evening they rushed for the battle plunder and butchered the sheep, goats, cattle, and calves, but they ate them without draining the blood.

在你们一切的住处，脂肪和血都不可吃，这要成为你们世世代代永远的定例。”

你为何没有听从耶和华的话呢？你为何急着扑向掠物，行耶和华眼中看为恶的事呢？”

只是带着生命的肉，就是带着血的，你们不可吃。

“凡以色列家中的任何人，或寄居在他们中间的外人，吃任何的血，我必向那吃血的人变脸，把他从百姓中剪除。因为动物的生命是在血中。我把这血赐给你们，可以在祭坛上为你们的生命赎罪；因为血就是生命，能够赎罪。因此，我对以色列人说：你们都不可吃血；寄居在你们中间的外人也不可吃血。凡以色列人，或寄居在他们中间的外人，猎取了可吃的飞禽走兽，必须把它的血放出来，用土掩盖。“因一切动物的生命，它的血就是它的生命。所以我对以色列人说：无论什么动物的血，你们都不可吃，因为一切动物的生命就是它的血。凡吃血的必被剪除。

“你们不可吃带血的食物。不可占卜，也不可观星象。

只是血，你不可吃，要把它倒在地上，如同倒水一样。

但是要写信吩咐他们禁戒偶像所玷污的东西、血和勒死的牲畜，禁戒淫乱。

但是你要坚定，不可吃血，因为血是生命；不可将生命与肉一起吃。你不可吃血，要把它倒在地上，如同倒水一样。

就是禁戒偶像所玷污的东西、血和勒死的牲畜，禁戒淫乱。这几件你们若能自己禁戒就好了。祝你们安康！”

所以你要对他们说，主耶和华如此说：你们吃带血的食物，向偶像举目，并且流人的血，你们还能得这地为业吗？

在你们一切的住处，无论是鸟或兽的血，你们都不可吃。无论谁吃了血，这人必从民中剪除。”
