Now the Israelites were in distress that day, because Saul had bound the people under an oath, saying,“ Cursed be anyone who eats food before evening comes, before I have avenged myself on my enemies!” So none of the troops tasted food.

The Israelites became very hungry that day. That’s because Saul had forced the army to make a promise. He had said,“ None of you must eat any food before evening comes. You must not eat until I’ve paid my enemies back for what they did. If you do, may you be under a curse!” So none of the troops ate any food at all.

And the men of Israel had been hard pressed that day, so Saul had laid an oath on the people, saying,“ Cursed be the man who eats food until it is evening and I am avenged on my enemies.” So none of the people had tasted food.

Now the men of Israel were pressed to exhaustion that day, because Saul had placed them under an oath, saying,“ Let a curse fall on anyone who eats before evening— before I have full revenge on my enemies.” So no one ate anything all day,

and the men of Israel were worn out that day, for Saul had placed the troops under an oath:“ The man who eats food before evening, before I have taken vengeance on my enemies is cursed.” So none of the troops tasted any food.

Now the men of Israel were hard pressed on that day, for Saul had put the people under oath, saying,“ Cursed be the man who eats food before evening, and before I have avenged myself on my enemies.” So none of the people tasted food.

And the men of Israel were distressed that day, for Saul had placed the people under oath, saying,“ Cursed is the man who eats any food until evening, before I have taken vengeance on my enemies.” So none of the people tasted food.

“‘凡制造耶和华所憎恶的偶像，无论是雕刻的，是铸造的，就是工匠用手造的，或暗中设置的，这人必受诅咒！’众百姓要回应说：‘阿们！’“‘轻慢父母的，必受诅咒！’众百姓要说：‘阿们！’“‘挪移邻舍地界的，必受诅咒！’众百姓要说：‘阿们！’“‘引领瞎子走错路的，必受诅咒！’众百姓要说：‘阿们！’“‘对寄居的、孤儿和寡妇屈枉正直的，必受诅咒！’众百姓要说：‘阿们！’“‘与继母同寝的，必受诅咒！因为他掀开父亲衣服的下边。’众百姓要说：‘阿们！’“‘与兽交合的，必受诅咒！’众百姓要说：‘阿们！’“‘与同父异母，或同母异父的姊妹同寝的，必受诅咒！’众百姓要说：‘阿们！’“‘与岳母同寝的，必受诅咒！’众百姓要说：‘阿们！’“‘暗中击杀邻舍的，必受诅咒！’众百姓要说：‘阿们！’“‘受贿赂击杀人而流无辜之血的，必受诅咒！’众百姓要说：‘阿们！’“‘不坚守遵行这律法之话的，必受诅咒！’众百姓要说：‘阿们！’”

以色列人在米斯巴曾起誓说：“我们中谁都不把女儿嫁给便雅悯人。”以色列人来到伯特利，坐在那里直到晚上，在神面前放声大哭，说：“耶和华—以色列的神啊，为何以色列中会发生这样的事，使以色列今日缺了一个支派呢？”次日，百姓清早起来，在那里筑了一座坛，献燔祭和平安祭。以色列人说：“以色列各支派中，谁没有同会众一起上到耶和华那里呢？”因为以色列人曾起重誓说：“凡不上米斯巴到耶和华那里的，必被处死。”

“以色列有领袖率领，百姓甘心牺牲自己，你们当称颂耶和华！

以色列强盛的时候，就叫迦南人做苦工，没有把他们全然赶走。

这位神为我伸冤，使万民服在我以下。

约拿单没有听见他父亲叫百姓起誓，所以他伸出手中的杖，以杖头蘸在蜂房里，用手取回送入口内，他的眼睛就明亮了。百姓中有一人对他说：“你父亲曾叫百姓严严地起誓说，今日吃东西的人必受诅咒；因此百姓就疲乏了。”约拿单说：“我父亲给这地添麻烦了。你们看，我尝了这一点蜜，眼睛就明亮了。今日百姓若随意吃了从仇敌夺来的东西，现在击杀的非利士人岂不更多吗？”

若有人不爱主，这人该受诅咒。主啊，愿你来！

凡从人中永献作当灭的都不可赎，必被处死。

以色列向耶和华许愿说：“你若把这百姓真的交在我手中，我就把他们的城镇彻底毁灭。”

这城和其中所有的都要永献给耶和华作当毁灭的，只有妓女喇合与她家中所有的可以存活，因为她隐藏了我们所派的使者。但你们务必谨慎，不可取那当灭的物，免得你们受诅咒，取了那当灭的物，使以色列全营成为诅咒而遭受灾祸。只有金子、银子和铜铁的器皿都要归耶和华为圣，放入耶和华的库房中。”

耶弗他向耶和华许愿，说：“你若真的将亚扪人交在我手中，我从亚扪人那里平平安安回来的时候，无论谁先从我家门出来迎接我，就要归给耶和华，我必将他献上作为燔祭。”
