So Saul said,“ Bring me the burnt offering and the fellowship offerings.” Then he offered the burnt offering.

則曰、當攜燔祭、及酬恩祭至此。掃羅獻之。

掃羅曰、以火焚祭與平安祭之犧牲、牽至我前、掃羅遂獻火焚祭、

So he said,“ Bring me the burnt offering and the fellowship offerings.” And Saul offered up the burnt offering.

So he said,“ Bring me the burnt offering and the friendship offerings.” Then he offered up the burnt offering.

So Saul said,“ Bring the burnt offering here to me, and the peace offerings.” And he offered the burnt offering.

So he demanded,“ Bring me the burnt offering and the peace offerings!” And Saul sacrificed the burnt offering himself.

So Saul said,“ Bring me the burnt offering and the peace offerings.” And he offered the burnt offering.

So Saul said,“ Bring a burnt offering and peace offerings here to me.” And he offered the burnt offering.

And Saul said, Bring hither the burnt- offering to me, and the peace- offerings. And he offered the burnt- offering.

So Saul said,“ Bring me the burnt offering and the fellowship offerings.” Then he offered the burnt offering.

And Saul said, Bring hither a burnt offering to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering.

So Saul said,“ Bring me the burnt offering and the peace offerings.” Then he offered a burnt offering.

Saul said,“ Bring the burnt offering to me here, and the peace offerings.” He offered the burnt offering.

The king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there because it was the most famous high place. He offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar.

You are to bring there your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tenths and personal contributions, your vow offerings and freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks.

He built an altar to the LORD there and offered burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. Then the LORD was receptive to prayer for the land, and the plague on Israel ended.

Be silent before the LORD and wait expectantly for him; do not be agitated by one who prospers in his way, by the person who carries out evil plans.

Saul told Ahijah,“ Bring the ark of God,” for it was with the Israelites at that time.

The troops took sheep, goats, and cattle from the plunder— the best of what was set apart for destruction— to sacrifice to the LORD your God at Gilgal.”Then Samuel said: Does the LORD take pleasure in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the LORD? Look: to obey is better than sacrifice, to pay attention is better than the fat of rams.

The sacrifice of the wicked is detestable to the LORD, but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

Doing what is righteous and just is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.

I thought,‘ The Philistines will now descend on me at Gilgal, and I haven’t sought the LORD’s favor.’ So I forced myself to offer the burnt offering.”Samuel said to Saul,“ You have been foolish. You have not kept the command the LORD your God gave you. It was at this time that the LORD would have permanently established your reign over Israel,

One person slaughters an ox, another kills a person; one person sacrifices a lamb, another breaks a dog’s neck; one person offers a grain offering, another offers pig’s blood; one person offers incense, another praises an idol— all these have chosen their ways and delight in their abhorrent practices.

The sacrifice of a wicked person is detestable— how much more so when he brings it with ulterior motives!

Don’t say,“ I will avenge this evil!” Wait on the LORD, and he will rescue you.
