撒母耳對掃羅說：「你做的是什麼事？」掃羅答道：「我看見手下的人不斷離我而去，你到了約定的時候還沒有來，而且非利士人就聚集在密抹。

撒母耳说：“你做的是什么事呢？”扫罗说：“因为我见百姓离开我散去，你也不照所定的日期来到，而且非利士人聚集在密抹。

撒母耳说：“你做了什么事啊？”扫罗说：“因为我见百姓离开我散去，你又不照所定的日期来到，而且非利士人已在密抹集合；

撒母耳說：「你做的是甚麼事呢？」掃羅說：「因為我見百姓離開我散去，你也不照所定的日期來到，而且非利士人聚集在密抹。

撒母耳說：「你做了甚麼事啊？」掃羅說：「因為我見百姓離開我散去，你又不照所定的日期來到，而且非利士人已在密抹集合；

撒母耳說：「你做了甚麼事啊？」掃羅說：「因為我見百姓離開我散去，你又不照所定的日期來到，而且非利士人已在密抹集合；

撒母耳說：“你作了甚麼事？”掃羅回答：“因為我看見眾民都離開我散去了，你又沒有照所定的日子來到，而非利士人正在密抹聚集起來。

撒母耳說：『你幹了甚麼事了？』掃羅說：『因為我見人民漸漸離開我散去了，你又沒在所定的日期以內來到，而且非利士人也聚集在密抹；

撒母耳說：「你做了什麼事呢？」掃羅說：「因為我看見軍兵離開我散去，你也沒有按著所定的日子來到，而非利士人聚集在米克瑪，

撒母耳曰、汝所行何事、掃羅曰、定期既屆、爾未式臨、我見斯民離散、而非利士人集於密抹、

“ What have you done?” asked Samuel. Saul replied,“ When I saw that the men were scattering, and that you did not come at the set time, and that the Philistines were assembling at Mikmash,

“ What have you done?” asked Samuel. Saul replied,“ I saw that the men were scattering. I saw that the Philistines were gathering together at Mikmash. You didn’t come when you said you would.

Samuel said,“ What have you done?” And Saul said,“ When I saw that the people were scattering from me, and that you did not come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines had mustered at Michmash,

but Samuel said,“ What is this you have done?” Saul replied,“ I saw my men scattering from me, and you didn’t arrive when you said you would, and the Philistines are at Micmash ready for battle.

and Samuel asked,“ What have you done?” Saul answered,“ When I saw that the troops were deserting me and you didn’t come within the appointed days and the Philistines were gathering at Michmash,

But Samuel said,“ What have you done?” And Saul said,“ Since I saw that the people were scattering from me, and that you did not come at the appointed time, and that the Philistines were assembling at Michmash,

And Samuel said,“ What have you done?” Saul said,“ When I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that you did not come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered together at Michmash,

And Samuel said, What hast thou done? And Saul said, Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that thou camest not within the days appointed, and that the Philistines assembled themselves together at Michmash;

and Samuel asked,“ What have you done?” Saul answered,“ When I saw that the troops were deserting me and you didn’t come within the appointed days and the Philistines were gathering at Michmash,

And Samuel said, What hast thou done? And Saul said, Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and[ that] thou camest not within the days appointed, and[ that] the Philistines gathered themselves together at Michmash;

But Samuel said,“ What have you done?” Saul replied,“ When I saw that the army had started to abandon me and that you didn’t come at the appointed time and that the Philistines had assembled at Micmash,

Samuel said,“ What have you done?” Saul said,“ Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that you didn’t come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines assembled themselves together at Michmash;

非利士人調兵遣將，要攻打以色列。他們有三萬輛戰車和六千騎兵，步兵多如海邊的沙。大軍來到伯·亞文以東的密抹，駐紮在那裡。

掃羅及其兒子約拿單和隨從留在便雅憫境內的迦巴，非利士人則在密抹紮營。

從以色列人中選出三千人，親自帶領其中的兩千人到密抹和伯特利山，另外一千人和約拿單留在便雅憫境內的基比亞。他把其餘的人遣散回家。

當時非利士的一隊防兵前往密抹的隘口駐守。

約押聽後，就去見王，說：「你這做的是什麼事？押尼珥來見你，你為什麼放他走呢？

北面的山峰面對密抹，南面的山峰面對迦巴。

耶和華說：「你做了什麼事？你弟弟的血從地裡向我哭訴。

基哈西進去侍立在以利沙面前，以利沙問他：「基哈西，你剛才去哪裡了？」基哈西答道：「僕人哪裡也沒有去。」

亞述大軍攻佔了亞葉，穿過米磯崙，把輜重存放在密抹。

約書亞對亞干說：「孩子啊，我勸你把榮耀歸給以色列的上帝耶和華，向祂認罪，把你所做的事告訴我，不要隱瞞。」

耶和華上帝對女人說：「你這做的是什麼事？」女人說：「是蛇誘騙我，我才吃的。」
