Now then, stand here, because I am going to confront you with evidence before the Lord as to all the righteous acts performed by the Lord for you and your ancestors.

耶和华说：“来吧，我们彼此理论！你们的罪虽如猩红，也必洁白如雪；你们的罪虽如绯红，也必白如羊毛。

解释、证明基督必须受害，然后从死里复活，又说：“我向你们宣讲的这位耶稣就是基督。”

他说，“耶路撒冷和犹大的居民啊，请你们在我和葡萄园之间评评理。我不遗余力地料理葡萄园，希望得到好葡萄，为什么得到的只是坏葡萄呢？

“你们说，主这样做不公平。以色列人啊，你们听着，是我的做法不公平呢？还是你们的做法不公平呢？倘若义人离义行恶，他必因犯罪而死。倘若恶人离恶行义，他必救回自己的性命。因为他醒悟过来，痛改前非，必能活着，不致死亡。以色列人却说，‘主这样做不公平！’以色列人啊，是我的做法不公平呢？还是你们的做法不公平呢？“所以主耶和华说，‘以色列人啊，我必按你们各人的行为审判你们。你们要悔改，痛改前非，使你们不致死在罪恶中。

以色列人啊，你们要听耶和华的话：“起来，你们要在高山面前申辩，让丘陵听你们诉说。群山啊，大地永固的根基啊，你们要听耶和华的控告！因为耶和华要控告祂的子民，责备以色列人。“我的子民啊，我做了什么对不起你们的事？我哪里令你们厌烦？回答我！我曾带领你们离开埃及，把你们从受奴役之地救赎出来，又差遣摩西、亚伦和米利暗引领你们。我的子民啊，你们要回想摩押王巴勒的阴谋以及比珥之子巴兰给他的回答，要回想你们从什亭到吉甲途中的遭遇，以便认识耶和华公义的作为。”

歌乐手聚集在井旁，传扬耶和华和祂以色列子民的胜利。耶和华的子民都来到城门口。
