故循天主之旨受苦者、惟當行善、以靈魂託於誠實可信創造萬物之主、以靈魂託於誠實可信創造萬物之主或作創造之主誠實可信當以靈魂託之

因此、吾願凡遵循天主意旨、正在受苦受難者、行善不輟、自強不息、而坦然將其靈魂託付於至誠之主宰也。

So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.

Here is what people who suffer because of God’s plan should do. They should commit themselves to their faithful Creator. And they should continue to do good.

Therefore let those who suffer according to God’s will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good.

So if you are suffering in a manner that pleases God, keep on doing what is right, and trust your lives to the God who created you, for he will never fail you.

So then, let those who suffer according to God’s will entrust themselves to a faithful Creator while doing what is good.

Therefore, those also who suffer according to the will of God are to entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right.

Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.

Wherefore let them also that suffer according to the will of God commit their souls in well- doing unto a faithful Creator.

So those who suffer according to God’s will should, while doing what is good, entrust themselves to a faithful Creator.

Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls[ to him] in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

So then let those who suffer according to the will of God entrust their souls to a faithful Creator as they do good.

Therefore let them also who suffer according to the will of God in doing good entrust their souls to him, as to a faithful Creator.

For it is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. (niv)

That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet this is no cause for shame, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day. (niv)

Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler.However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: (niv)

My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, Your Majesty.” (niv)

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to him,“ King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter.If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand.But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.” (niv)

but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. (niv)

the people I formed for myself that they may proclaim my praise. (niv)

“ Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish.” (niv)

Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before.Then these men went as a group and found Daniel praying and asking God for help. (niv)

Why do you complain, Jacob? Why do you say, Israel,“ My way is hidden from the Lord; my cause is disregarded by my God”?Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. (niv)

the twenty- four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:“ You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” (niv)

“ I, even I, am he who comforts you. Who are you that you fear mere mortals, human beings who are but grass,that you forget the Lord your Maker, who stretches out the heavens and who lays the foundations of the earth, that you live in constant terror every day because of the wrath of the oppressor, who is bent on destruction? For where is the wrath of the oppressor? (niv)
