你若口裏宣認耶穌為主，心裏信神叫他從死人中復活，就必得救。因為，人心裏信就可以稱義，口裏宣認就可以得救。

當夜，就在那時候，獄警把他們帶去，洗他們的傷；他和他所有的家人立刻都受了洗。

然而，從亞當到摩西，死就掌了權，連那些不與亞當犯一樣罪過的，也在死的權下。亞當是那以後要來之人的預像。

他救了我們，並不是因我們自己所行的義，而是照他的憐憫，藉着重生的洗和聖靈的更新。聖靈就是神藉着我們的救主耶穌基督厚厚地澆灌在我們身上的，好讓我們因他的恩得稱為義，可以憑着永生的盼望成為後嗣。

你要為信仰打那美好的仗；要持定永生，你為此被召，也已經在許多見證人面前作了那美好的見證。

他認為神甚至能使人從死人中復活，意味着他得回了他的兒子。

二人正沿路往前走，到了有水的地方，太監說：「看哪！這裏有水，有甚麼能阻止我受洗呢？」

所以，親愛的，既然我們有這樣的應許，就當潔淨自己，除去身體和靈魂一切的污穢，藉着敬畏神，得以成聖。

我們所誇的是：我們在世為人，特別是跟你們的關係，是憑着神所賜的坦率和真誠，不是靠人的聰明，而是靠神的恩惠；這是我們的良心可以作證的。
