要知道，「那願意愛惜生命、願意見到好日子的人，要停止舌頭出惡言，不讓嘴唇說詭詐的話；

故曰、凡欲愛生而見佳日者、宜禁其舌於惡、其口於譎、

凡欲得生而有福、當捫舌勿言惡、緘口勿詭譎、

經載云、凡欲得生而平康度日者、則當捫舌勿言惡、守口無詭詐、

聖詠有之、『人欲善其生、長度康樂日：守舌毋惡言、緘口絕詭譎；

For,“ Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech.

Scripture says,“ Suppose someone wants to love life and see good days. Then they must keep their tongues from speaking evil. They must keep their lips from telling lies.

For“ Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit;

For the Scriptures say,“ If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies.

For the one who wants to love life and to see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit,

For,“ The one who desires life, to love and see good days, Must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit.

For“ He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit.

For, He that would love life, And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips that they speak no guile:

For the one who wants to love life and to see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit,

For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:

For the one who wants to love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from uttering deceit.

Who is someone who desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking lies.Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it.Yahweh’s eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry.Yahweh’s face is against those who do evil, to cut off their memory from the earth.

If anyone among you thinks himself to be religious while he doesn’t bridle his tongue, but deceives his heart, this man’s religion is worthless.

who didn’t sin,“ neither was deceit found in his mouth.”

Putting away therefore all wickedness, all deceit, hypocrisies, envies, and all evil speaking,

In their mouth was found no lie, for they are blameless.

Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and said about him,“ Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!”

For whoever finds me, finds life, and will obtain favor from Yahweh.

Let not many of you be teachers, my brothers, knowing that we will receive heavier judgment.For we all stumble in many things. Anyone who doesn’t stumble in word is a perfect person, able to bridle the whole body also.Indeed, we put bits into the horses’ mouths so that they may obey us, and we guide their whole body.Behold, the ships also, though they are so big and are driven by fierce winds, are yet guided by a very small rudder, wherever the pilot desires.So the tongue is also a little member, and boasts great things. See how a small fire can spread to a large forest!And the tongue is a fire. The world of iniquity among our members is the tongue, which defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature, and is set on fire by Gehenna.For every kind of animal, bird, creeping thing, and sea creature, is tamed, and has been tamed by mankind;but nobody can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men who are made in the image of God.Out of the same mouth comes blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.

for they will add to you length of days, years of life, and peace.

For they are life to those who find them, and health to their whole body.

She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her. Happy is everyone who retains her.

Satan answered Yahweh, and said,“ Skin for skin. Yes, all that a man has he will give for his life.

He said to him,“ Why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”

“ But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.For most certainly I tell you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things which you see, and didn’t see them; and to hear the things which you hear, and didn’t hear them.

I searched in my heart how to cheer my flesh with wine, my heart yet guiding me with wisdom, and how to lay hold of folly, until I might see what it was good for the sons of men that they should do under heaven all the days of their lives.

He has redeemed my soul from going into the pit. My life will see the light.’

that I may see the prosperity of your chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation, that I may glory with your inheritance.

For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; and whoever will lose his life for my sake and the sake of the Good News will save it.

he shall go to the generation of his fathers. They shall never see the light.

Oh remember that my life is a breath. My eye will no more see good.The eye of him who sees me will see me no more. Your eyes will be on me, but I will not be.

For it is no vain thing for you, because it is your life, and through this thing you shall prolong your days in the land, where you go over the Jordan to possess it.”

I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living.

“ Now my days are swifter than a runner. They flee away. They see no good.

He who loves his life will lose it. He who hates his life in this world will keep it to eternal life.
