如孩提初生索乳、宜求真道、使爾漸長、

當慕純真之道、如甫生嬰兒之慕乳然、使爾由此而漸長、

當如新生之嬰、一心愛慕純粹乳汁、日漸月漬、涵養心靈、以邀救恩。

Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation,

Like newborn babies, you should long for the pure milk of God’s word. It will help you grow up as believers.

Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation—

Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment,

Like newborn infants, desire the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow up into your salvation,

and like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation,

as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,

as newborn babes, long for the spiritual milk which is without guile, that ye may grow thereby unto salvation;

Like newborn infants, desire the pure spiritual milk, so that you may grow by it for your salvation,

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

And yearn like newborn infants for pure, spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up to salvation,

as newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the Word, that with it you may grow,

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. (niv)

In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. (niv)

The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes.The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous.They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb. (niv)

For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. (niv)

“ If my house were not right with God, surely he would not have made with me an everlasting covenant, arranged and secured in every part; surely he would not bring to fruition my salvation and grant me my every desire. (niv)

In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. (niv)

But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well- fed calves. (niv)

People will dwell again in his shade; they will flourish like the grain, they will blossom like the vine— Israel’s fame will be like the wine of Lebanon. (niv)

I will be like the dew to Israel; he will blossom like a lily. Like a cedar of Lebanon he will send down his roots; (niv)
