To them it was revealed, that they served not to themselves, but to you, in these things, which now have been announced to you through those who preached the Good News to you by the Holy Spirit sent out from heaven; which things angels desire to look into.

It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you, when they spoke of the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Even angels long to look into these things.

They were told that their messages were not for themselves, but for you. And now this Good News has been announced to you by those who preached in the power of the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. It is all so wonderful that even the angels are eagerly watching these things happen.

“ When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.

to the intent that now through the assembly the manifold wisdom of God might be made known to the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places,

These all, having had testimony given to them through their faith, didn’t receive the promise,God having provided some better thing concerning us, so that apart from us they should not be made perfect.

He said to them,“ Go into all the world, and preach the Good News to the whole creation.

He said,“ Go your way, Daniel; for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end.

but the Lord’s word endures forever.” This is the word of Good News which was preached to you.

For indeed we have had good news preached to us, even as they also did, but the word they heard didn’t profit them, because it wasn’t mixed with faith by those who heard.

God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders, by various works of power and by gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will?

“ But go your way until the end; for you will rest, and will stand in your inheritance at the end of the days.”

to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I didn’t immediately confer with flesh and blood,

I saw, and I heard something like a voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders. The number of them was ten thousands of ten thousands, and thousands of thousands;

But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

For I didn’t receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came to me through revelation of Jesus Christ.

who also sealed us, and gave us the down payment of the Spirit in our hearts.

‘ It will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams.Yes, and on my servants and on my handmaidens in those days, I will pour out my Spirit, and they will prophesy.

Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a vision of the night. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

and that our Good News came to you not in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and with much assurance. You know what kind of men we showed ourselves to be among you for your sake.You became imitators of us and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit,

For you remember, brothers, our labor and travail; for working night and day, that we might not burden any of you, we preached to you the Good News of God.

All things have been delivered to me by my Father. No one knows the Son, except the Father; neither does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and he to whom the Son desires to reveal him.

They departed and went throughout the villages, preaching the Good News and healing everywhere.

until the Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is considered a forest.

He reveals the deep and secret things. He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him.

For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and streams on the dry ground. I will pour my Spirit on your descendants, and my blessing on your offspring:and they will spring up among the grass, as willows by the watercourses.One will say,‘ I am Yahweh’s;’ and another will be called by the name of Jacob; and another will write with his hand‘ to Yahweh,’ and honor the name of Israel.”

in pureness, in knowledge, in perseverance, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in sincere love,

I will pour on David’s house, and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they will look to me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son, and will grieve bitterly for him, as one grieves for his firstborn.

Jesus answered him,“ Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed to Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, even a great warfare. He understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.

Being therefore exalted by the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this, which you now see and hear.

At that time, Jesus answered,“ I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you hid these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to infants.

It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he should not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.

The cherubim shall spread out their wings upward, covering the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces toward one another. The faces of the cherubim shall be toward the mercy seat.

Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage that I go away, for if I don’t go away, the Counselor won’t come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.When he has come, he will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment;about sin, because they don’t believe in me;about righteousness, because I am going to my Father, and you won’t see me any more;about judgment, because the prince of this world has been judged.“ I still have many things to tell you, but you can’t bear them now.However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming.He will glorify me, for he will take from what is mine, and will declare it to you.All things that the Father has are mine; therefore I said that he takes of mine and will declare it to you.

Even so, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner repenting.”

Yahweh’s Spirit will rest on him: the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Yahweh.His delight will be in the fear of Yahweh. He will not judge by the sight of his eyes, neither decide by the hearing of his ears;but he will judge the poor with righteousness, and decide with equity for the humble of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips he will kill the wicked.Righteousness will be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his waist.The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the young goat, the calf, the young lion, and the fattened calf together; and a little child will lead them.

Surely the Lord Yahweh will do nothing, unless he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets.

Suddenly there came from the sky a sound like the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.Tongues like fire appeared and were distributed to them, and one sat on each of them.They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other languages, as the Spirit gave them the ability to speak.

Turn at my reproof. Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you. I will make known my words to you.

The king answered to Daniel, and said,“ Of a truth your God is the God of gods, and the Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, since you have been able to reveal this secret.”

For in it is revealed God’s righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written,“ But the righteous shall live by faith.”

in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of God’s Spirit; so that from Jerusalem, and around as far as to Illyricum, I have fully preached the Good News of Christ;

but there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and he has made known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head on your bed, are these:“ As for you, O king, your thoughts came on your bed, what should happen hereafter; and he who reveals secrets has made known to you what will happen.

And how will they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:“ How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Good News of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!”

Then I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said to that certain one who spoke,“ How long will the vision about the continual burnt offering, and the disobedience that makes desolate, to give both the sanctuary and the army to be trodden under foot be?”

Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, two others stood, one on the river bank on this side, and the other on the river bank on that side.One said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river,“ How long will it be to the end of these wonders?”

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them and embraced them from afar, and having confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

When they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were gathered together. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

They therefore, when they had testified and spoken the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the Good News to many villages of the Samaritans.

While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all those who heard the word.

Who has believed our message? To whom has Yahweh’s arm been revealed?

Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them,“ You rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,

“ It will happen afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; and your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions.

So as much as is in me, I am eager to preach the Good News to you also who are in Rome.

“ Seventy weeks are decreed on your people and on your holy city, to finish disobedience, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy.

When he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go out to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the Good News to them.
