And may your hearts be fully committed to the Lord our God, to live by his decrees and obey his commands, as at this time.”

And may you commit your lives completely to the Lord our God. May you live by his rules. May you obey his commands. May you always do as you are doing now.”

Let your heart therefore be wholly true to the Lord our God, walking in his statutes and keeping his commandments, as at this day.”

When Solomon was old, his wives turned away his heart after other gods; and his heart was not perfect with Yahweh his God, as the heart of David his father was.

But the high places were not taken away. Nevertheless the heart of Asa was perfect with Yahweh all his days.

Having therefore these promises, beloved, let’s cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job. That man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God, and turned away from evil.

When Abram was ninety- nine years old, Yahweh appeared to Abram and said to him,“ I am God Almighty. Walk before me and be blameless.

Not that I have already obtained, or am already made perfect; but I press on, that I may take hold of that for which also I was taken hold of by Christ Jesus.Brothers, I don’t regard myself as yet having taken hold, but one thing I do: forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before,I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, think this way. If in anything you think otherwise, God will also reveal that to you.Nevertheless, to the extent that we have already attained, let’s walk by the same rule. Let’s be of the same mind.

Mark the perfect man, and see the upright, for there is a future for the man of peace.
