他將兩個基路伯安在內殿裏；基路伯的翅膀是張開的，這基路伯的一個翅膀挨着這邊的牆，那基路伯的一個翅膀挨着那邊的牆，裏邊的兩個翅膀在殿中間彼此相接；

要使幔子垂在鈎子下，把法櫃擡進幔子內；這幔子要將聖所和至聖所隔開。又要把施恩座安在至聖所內的法櫃上，

又把法版放在櫃裏，把槓穿在櫃的兩旁，把施恩座安在櫃上。把櫃擡進帳幕，掛上遮掩櫃的幔子，把法櫃遮掩了，是照耶和華所吩咐他的。

「坐在二基路伯上萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神啊，你－惟有你是天下萬國的神，你曾創造天地。

祭司和利未人將耶和華的約櫃運上來，又將會幕和會幕的一切聖器具都帶上來。

於是百姓打發人到示羅，從那裏將坐在二基路伯上萬軍之耶和華的約櫃擡來。以利的兩個兒子何弗尼、非尼哈與神的約櫃同來。

耶和華作王；萬民當戰抖！他坐在二基路伯上，地當動搖。

祭司將耶和華的約櫃擡進內殿，就是至聖所，放在兩個基路伯的翅膀底下。

二基路伯高張翅膀，遮掩施恩座；基路伯是臉對臉，朝着施恩座。

大衛起身，率領跟隨他的眾人前往，要從巴拉‧猶大將神的約櫃運來；這約櫃就是坐在二基路伯上萬軍之耶和華留名的約櫃。

領約瑟如領羊羣之以色列的牧者啊，求你留心聽！坐在二基路伯上的啊，求你發出光來！

基路伯翅膀的響聲聽到外院，好像全能神說話的聲音。

二基路伯要高張翅膀，遮掩施恩座。基路伯要臉對臉，朝着施恩座。要將施恩座安在櫃的上邊，又將我所要賜給你的法版放在櫃裏。我要在那裏與你相會，又要從法櫃施恩座上二基路伯中間，和你說我所要吩咐你傳給以色列人的一切事。」
