『永恆主是當受祝頌的，因為他照他一切所說過的將安居地賜給他人民以色列；凡由他僕人摩西經手說過一切賜福的應許、一句都沒有落空。

主踐前言、賜平安於以色列民、當頌美之、昔主託其僕摩西許以賜福、其言無一不驗、

“ Praise be to the Lord, who has given rest to his people Israel just as he promised. Not one word has failed of all the good promises he gave through his servant Moses.

“ I praise the Lord. He has given peace and rest to his people Israel. That’s exactly what he promised to do. He gave his people good promises through his servant Moses. Every single word of those promises has come true.

“ Blessed be the Lord who has given rest to his people Israel, according to all that he promised. Not one word has failed of all his good promise, which he spoke by Moses his servant.

“ Praise the Lord who has given rest to his people Israel, just as he promised. Not one word has failed of all the wonderful promises he gave through his servant Moses.

“ Blessed be the LORD! He has given rest to his people Israel according to all he has said. Not one of all the good promises he made through his servant Moses has failed.

『看吧，我今日要走全地上人必走的路了。你們全心全意地知道永恆主你們的上帝所應許關於你們的事，就是一切賜福的事，是沒有一件落了空；全都應驗在你們身上，沒有一件落空的。將來永恆主你們的上帝所曾應許關於你們的各樣福氣會怎樣臨到你們身上，永恆主也必怎樣使各樣禍患臨到你們身上，直到把你們從永恆主你們的上帝所賜給你們這美好土地上消滅掉為止。

永恆主使他們四圍得享平靜，照他們向他們列祖所起誓的一切話；他們所有的仇敵中、沒有一個人能在他們面前站得住的；永恆主把他們所有的仇敵都交在他們手中。永恆主向以色列家所說到的福氣、沒有一句落空；全都應驗了。

撒母耳長大了；永恆主和他同在，使他所說的話沒有一句墜地落空。

天地會過去；我的話斷不能過去。

以便向我們列祖實施憐憫，記念他的聖約，就是他對我們祖亞伯拉罕起誓，

但你們過了約但河、得以住在永恆主你們的上帝使你們承受為業的地、又使你們得享平靜、脫離你們四圍的仇敵、而安然居住，

等到永恆主把你們的族弟兄安頓好了，像把你們安頓好了一樣，而他們也取得了永恆主你們的上帝所賜給他們在約但河西邊的地了，然後你們才可以各人回到自己的基業，就是我所賜給你們的。」

他扶助了他的僕人以色列，來記念自己的憐憫、就是向亞伯拉罕和他後裔所施到永遠，照主自己對我們列祖所說過的。』

到底還是我們這些相信的人竟得進入安息呢；正如上帝所說的：『我帶着怒氣起誓說，他們斷不得以進入我的安息』。其實上帝之工、從世界創立以來就已作完了。因為論到第七日，他在某處是這麼說：『在第七日上帝歇了他一切的工而安息』，而在這裏他又說：『他們斷不得以進入我的安息』。那麼這安息既保留着要給一部分人進入，而先前得聽福音傳給他們的人又因不信、而沒有進入，所以上帝就再立定一個日子，就是過了這麼長的時間、在大衛書上直說着的「今日」，正如以上所說的：『今日你們如果聽見他的聲音，就不可硬着心。』倘若約書亞已經使眾民享了安息，上帝後來就不再直講到別的日子了。這樣看來，就有一個安息日式的安息為上帝的子民保留着了。

你們要在永恆主你們的上帝面前歡樂，你們跟你們的兒子和女兒、你們的奴僕和使女、以及在你們城內的利未人、都要歡樂，因為利未人不同你們一樣有分有業。

那麼你們就知道永恆主的話、永恆主指着亞哈家所說過的、一句沒有墜地落空；永恆主由他僕人以利亞經手所說的話、他都作成了。』

他又在猶大建造了幾座堡障城；因為地方太平，這些年之中都沒有戰事，是因為永恆主使他得享平靜。
