And forgive your people, who have sinned against you; forgive all the offenses they have committed against you, and cause their captors to show them mercy;

Your people have sinned against you. Please forgive them. Forgive them for all the wrong things they’ve done against you. And make those who won the battle over them show mercy to them.

救拔他脫離他一切的苦難，賜給他在埃及王法老面前受優待又有智慧。法老設立他做宰相管理埃及和法老全家。

這以斯拉從巴比倫上來。他是一位敏捷的經學士，精於永恆主以色列之上帝所賜摩西的律法書：王賜給他一切所求的，因為永恆主他的上帝的手幫助他。

王問我說：『那麼你要求甚麼？』於是我禱告天上的上帝，就對王說：『王若認為滿意，僕人若在王面前蒙恩寵，請王差遣我往猶大，到我列祖墳墓所在的城去，我好重新建造它。』那時王妃坐在王的旁邊。王問我說：『你的行程要到甚麼時候？你甚麼時候可以回來？』這事在王面前既認為滿意，我就給王一個指定的日期。我又對王說：『王若認為滿意，請給我詔書、通知大河以西那邊的巡撫准我經過，直到我抵達了猶大；賜詔書通知看守王園林的亞薩，叫他給我木料、作附屬於殿的營樓之門的橫梁、作城牆、和我自己要進住的房屋的用處。』王就賜給我所求的，因為我的上帝至善的手幫助了我。

人所行的若蒙永恆主所喜悅，永恆主也使他的仇敵跟他和好。

上帝使但以理在太監長眼前得到特別的待遇和同情；太監長對但以理說：『我懼怕我主我王；他把你們的飲食分派好了；何必讓他見你們面貌比同輩的年輕人憔悴難看呢？那你們就使我的腦袋在王面前難保了。』

主啊，願你的耳傾聽你僕人的祈禱，傾聽這些喜愛敬畏你名的僕人的祈禱，使你僕人今日順利，使他在王面前得蒙憐憫。』那時我做王的酒政。

永恆主我們列祖的上帝是當受祝頌的，因為他將這樣的意思放在王的心意中，使他去修飾那在耶路撒冷的永恆主之殿；上帝又使我在王和王眾參謀跟王所有英勇軍官面前蒙恩寵。因為永恆主我的上帝的手幫助了我，我就壯膽；我便從以色列中選拔了首領、和我一同上來。
