如在擄之之敵國、盡心盡意歸主、向其故土、即主所賜其列祖之地、與主所選之邑、及我為主名所建之殿、禱告於主、

and if they turn back to you with all their heart and soul in the land of their enemies who took them captive, and pray to you toward the land you gave their ancestors, toward the city you have chosen and the temple I have built for your Name;

When Daniel realized that a written decree had been issued, he entered his home, where the windows in his upper room opened toward Jerusalem. Three times daily he was kneeling and offering prayers and thanks to his God just as he had been accustomed to do previously.

When you call out to me and come to me in prayer, I will hear your prayers.When you seek me in prayer and worship, you will find me available to you. If you seek me with all your heart and soul,I will make myself available to you,’ says the LORD.‘ Then I will reverse your plight and will regather you from all the nations and all the places where I have exiled you,’ says the LORD.‘ I will bring you back to the place from which I exiled you.’

But if you seek the LORD your God from there, you will find him, if, indeed, you seek him with all your heart and soul.

But if you repent and obey my commandments and do them, then even if your dispersed people are in the most remote location, I will gather them from there and bring them to the place I have chosen for my name to reside.’

Samuel said to all the people of Israel,“ If you are really turning to the LORD with all your hearts, remove from among you the foreign gods and the images of Ashtoreth. Just as it is written in the law of Moses, so all this calamity has come on us. Still we have not tried to pacify the LORD our God by turning back from our sin and by seeking wisdom from your reliable moral standards.

I cried out with all my heart,“ Answer me, O LORD! I will observe your statutes.”

In spite of all this, Israel’s sister, unfaithful Judah, has not turned back to me with any sincerity; she has only pretended to do so,” says the LORD.

Give me your heart, my son, and let your eyes observe my ways;

You must love the LORD your God with your whole mind, your whole being, and all your strength.These words I am commanding you today must be kept in mind,

Now as they were going along the road, they came to some water, and the eunuch said,“ Look, there is water! What is to stop me from being baptized?”

For with the heart one believes and thus has righteousness and with the mouth one confesses and thus has salvation.

How blessed are those who observe his rules, and seek him with all their heart,

I will give them the desire to acknowledge that I am the LORD. I will be their God and they will be my people. For they will wholeheartedly return to me.’

Night and day may you watch over this temple, the place where you promised you would live. May you answer your servant’s prayer for this place.Respond to the request of your servant and your people Israel for this place. Hear from inside your heavenly dwelling place and respond favorably.

Seek the LORD while he makes himself available; call to him while he is nearby!The wicked need to abandon their lifestyle and sinful people their plans. They should return to the LORD, and he will show mercy to them, and to their God, for he will freely forgive them.

With all my heart I seek you. Do not allow me to stray from your commands!
