主素警戒我儕及治我之士師、士師或作長者必降大災於我儕、今主之言已應矣、耶路撒冷所遇之災、天下各處、未嘗遭遇、

爾當知當明、自出令復建耶路撒冷、至於受膏君之時、有七七、及六十二七、其間邑必復建、復有街市、復有城與濠、城與濠或作城垣時有患難、

主曰、時日將至、我必使以色列族、與猶大族、人丁蕃衍、牲畜眾多、

我震怒施威、大發烈忿、以斯邑之居民、逐至列邦、日後我必由此列邦集之、使歸斯地、安然而居、

如是主以全地賜以色列人、即昔所誓賜其列祖之地、以色列人據而居之、

主如是云、爾曹曾言斯地荒蕪、無人無畜、厥後在此荒蕪、無人無居民無牲畜之猶大諸邑、及耶路撒冷之街衢、將復聞欣喜之聲、新娶者之聲、新婦之聲、必仍有人以酬恩祭、酬恩祭或作感謝祭奉入主殿、大聲呼曰、當頌美萬有之主、因主至善、主之恩惠永遠恆存、蓋我必使斯地之被擄者旋歸、我必使斯地之被擄者旋歸或作我必使斯地復興使綏安如初、此乃主所言、

主又曰、以色列民、民原文作處女我必復建爾、則爾得建、譬彼處女、執鼓為飾、與群歡樂者、舞蹈而出、必復在撒瑪利亞諸山、植葡萄樹、植者植之而食其果、時日將至、在以法蓮山之守望者將呼曰、爾我當起、陟彼郇山、覲主我之天主、主如是云、當為雅各欣喜而歌、在萬民中為首者、當為之歡呼、傳揚讚頌曰、主之民以色列、主拯救其遺餘者、主曰、我導之自北方、集之自地極、偕之必有瞽者、跛者、孕婦、產婦咸來、成為大會、歸於斯地、彼為我所導、必哭泣禱告而來、我使之行於溪畔、履平直之途、其間不遇窒礙、其間不遇窒礙或作無人顛蹶其中我為以色列之父、以法蓮為我長子、

我昔誓賜亞伯拉罕以撒雅各之地、我必導爾至彼、賜爾為業、我乃耶和華也、

蝗既食盡國中之草、我曰、求主天主赦宥、雅各已衰微、焉能得立、

求主垂聽、求主赦宥、求主俯顧、求我天主為主之名、行救莫緩、行救莫緩或作循我所求而行莫遲延蓋斯邑乃主之邑、斯民亦主之民、俱歸主之名、

凡所見之地、我必賜爾及爾後裔至於永遠、

求主我之天主拯救我儕、從異邦中集我以歸、我儕必讚美主之聖名、頌揚主德以為榮耀、

凡主之僕與主之民以色列、在在或作向此殿祈禱、求主垂聽、願主在天、在主之居所、垂聽赦免、

巴西王古列元年、主欲應耶利米所傳主之言、感巴西王古列之心、宣告遍國、並降詔曰、巴西王古列如是云、主天上之天主、以天下萬國賜我、命我在猶大之耶路撒冷、為之建殿、凡爾曹屬主之民者、願其天主祐之、可上猶大之耶路撒冷、為主以色列之天主、即居耶路撒冷之天主、建造殿宇、猶大所遺餘之民、無論居於何處、何處之民、當助之以金銀、貨財、牲畜、亦將為耶路撒冷天主之殿、樂輸之禮物付之、於是猶大與便雅憫之諸族長、祭司、利未人、及凡為天主所感者、咸起、欲上耶路撒冷、以建主殿、凡其四周之人、皆助之以銀器、黃金、貨財、牲畜、珍寶、此外亦付之一切樂輸之禮物、
