『人若得罪他的鄰舍，有人叫他用一種咒語來起誓，他來到這殿，在你的祭壇前起誓；

“人若得罪邻舍，有人叫他起誓，他来到这殿在你的坛前起誓，

“人若得罪邻舍，有人强迫他，要他起誓，他来到这殿，在你的坛前起誓，

“人若得罪邻舍，有人强迫他，要他起誓，他来到这殿，在你的坛前起誓，

“如果有人得罪邻舍，被叫到这殿中，在你的坛前起誓，

“如果有人得罪他的邻居被迫起誓，他来到这殿在你的祭坛前起誓的时候，

「人若得罪鄰舍，有人叫他起誓，他來到這殿在你的壇前起誓，

「人若得罪鄰舍，有人強迫他，要他起誓，他來到這殿，在你的壇前起誓，

「人若得罪鄰舍，有人強迫他，要他起誓，他來到這殿，在你的壇前起誓，

「如果有人得罪鄰舍，被叫到這殿中，在你的壇前起誓，

“如果有人得罪他的鄰居被迫起誓，他來到這殿在你的祭壇前起誓的時候，

人若獲罪於鄰、令其發誓、則至此室、在爾壇前發誓、

如人與同儕有所干犯、使至此殿、發誓於壇前、

人若獲罪於人、乃使其發誓、以徵其言、遂至此殿主之祭臺前發誓、

“ When anyone wrongs their neighbor and is required to take an oath and they come and swear the oath before your altar in this temple,

“ Suppose someone does something wrong to their neighbor. And the person who has done something wrong is required to give their word. They must tell the truth about what they have done. They must come and do it in front of your altar in this temple.

“ If a man sins against his neighbor and is made to take an oath and comes and swears his oath before your altar in this house,

“ If someone wrongs another person and is required to take an oath of innocence in front of your altar in this Temple,

If a man sin against his neighbor, and an oath be laid upon him to cause him to swear, and he come and swear before thine altar in this house;

“ When someone is accused of sinning against his neighbor and the latter pronounces a curse on the alleged offender before your altar in this temple, be willing to forgive the accused if the accusation is false.

“ If a man sins against his neighbor, and an oath is laid on him to cause him to swear, and he comes and swears before your altar in this house;

賊若不被找到，那家主就必須被帶到官長面前、去查明他有沒有下手拿鄰舍的物件。『為了任何侵害的案件，無論是為了牛、或驢、或羊、為了衣裳、或是甚麼失掉的東西，若有一人說：「這就是」，那麼兩造的案件就必須進到官長面前，官長定誰有罪，誰就必須加倍地賠償給他的鄰舍。『人若將驢或牛、或羊、或任何牲口、給鄰舍看守；牲畜或是死、或是折傷、或是被趕走，沒有人看見，二人之間就必須憑着永恆主來起誓自己有沒有下手拿鄰舍的物件，物主就必須接受那起誓，看守的人不必賠償。

恐怕我飽足了、就否認你，說：『永恆主是誰？』又恐怕我窮乏了、就偷竊，以致冒瀆了我的上帝的名。

『祭司要把那婦人帶來、站在永恆主面前。祭司要取聖水盛在瓦器裏，又從帳幕的地面取點塵土、放在水中。祭司要叫那婦人站在永恆主面前，叫那婦人蓬頭散髮，把記憶的素祭、就是疑忌的素祭、放在她手掌中，祭司手裏要拿着那能招致咒詛的苦水。祭司要叫那婦人起誓，對她說：「若沒有人和你同寢，你做丈夫妻子時、若沒有邪行而被玷污，這能招致咒詛的苦水、就與你無干。但你做丈夫妻子時若有邪行、若被玷污；在你丈夫以外、若有人和你同寢」，（這時祭司就叫那婦人用咒詛的話來起誓；祭司又對那婦人說）：「永恆主叫你的大腿消瘦、你的肚子發脹時，願永恆主叫你在你的族人中成了受咒詛和起誓的話柄；這招致咒詛的水進你腹中、就會叫你的肚子發脹，大腿消瘦。」那婦人要說：「誠心所願誠心所願。」

『倘若有人犯罪、聽見誓囑或是誓求的聲音，雖能做見證——無論是看見甚麼、或是知道甚麼——卻不說出來，他就要擔當他的罪罰。

『人若得罪了鄰舍，有人叫他用一種咒語來起誓，他來到這殿，在你祭壇前起誓；求你從天上垂聽，有所施行，判斷你的僕人，報應無理的人，照他所行的還報在他頭上；定無罪的人有理，照他的理直賞報他。
