Do not be quick with your mouth or impulsive in thought to bring up a matter in the presence of God. For God is in heaven and you are on the earth; therefore let your words be few.

I said,“ Please, Lord God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps the covenant and faithfulness for those who love Him and keep His commandments:let Your ear now be attentive and Your eyes open, to hear the prayer of Your servant which I am praying before You now, day and night, on behalf of the sons of Israel Your servants, confessing the sins of the sons of Israel which we have committed against You; I and my father’s house have sinned.

To You I have raised my eyes, You who are enthroned in the heavens!

And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

Who is like the Lord our God, Who is enthroned on high,Who looks far down to The heavens and the earth?

They have lived in it, and have built You a sanctuary in it for Your name, saying,‘ If disaster comes upon us, the sword, or judgment, or plague, or famine, we will stand before this house and before You( for Your name is in this house), and cry out to You in our distress, and You will hear and save us.’
